I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Program Title SHINE AWARDS

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 9. s.2002 entitled Establishing
the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence
(PRAISE) in the Department of Education, DepEd Regional
Program Description Office VII issues the guidelines for the regional search for
outstanding teaching, teaching-realated and non-teaching
personnel, 3rd level officials, schools division offices, and
schools in the region.

II. RATIONALE
SHINE AWARDS is a school-based activity Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 9. s.2002 entitled
Establishing the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) in the
Department of Education, DepEd Regional Office VII issues the guidelines for the regional search for
outstanding teaching, teaching-realated and non-teaching personnel, 3rd level officials, schools
division offices, and schools in the region.

III. OBJECTIVES

The activity aims to:

 Identify the Awards in the School Level;
 Discuss the RM No. 0273, s. 2020 entitled Establishing the Program on Awards and
Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE); and
 To encourage, recognize and reward employees individually or in groups for the
exemplary contributions in improving government operations which lead to
organizational productivity.
