SUPER POR-ROK
MIXING AND INTERIOR APPLICATIONS:
Flexural Strength:
NOTE: SUPER POR-ROK is a cement based anchoring cement. Adding more water than recommended will
1260 psi
cause a delayed set time, lower strengths and surface dusting.
Add 3/4 quarts (24 oz) of clean potable water to every 10 pounds of SUPER POR-ROK and mix to a smooth Tensile Strength:
flowable consistency. If mixing smaller amounts by hand mix 1 part water with 5 parts SUPER POR-ROK. 450 psi
Once the mix is lump free, pour the material around the bolt or anchor. Fill the material slightly above substrate
level (DO NOT LEAVE THE SUPER POR-ROK SET IN WHERE WATER CAN PUDDLE AROUND THE BOLT Required Tools:
OR ANCHOR). Low rpm Drill
Jiffy type mixing paddle
For applications that require a more plastic like consistency, reduce the amount of water slight until the desired
Water measuring pail
consistency is achieved.

IMPORTANT APPLICATION NOTES AND LIMITATIONS:
1. DO NOT OVER-WATER SUPER POR-ROK. Over-watering cement based products can inhibit
long term strength and durability.
2. SUPER POR-ROK should be poured slightly above substrate level. Leaving a depression would
allow water to settle in the application and weaken its integrity over time.
3. The hole to accept the bolt or anchor should not be drilled with 4” of the corner or the edge of
the concrete substrate.
4. Do not install SUPER POR-ROK where the application temperature will go below 32 degrees
within 24 hours.
5. If a smooth surface is desired a flat trowel can be used when SUPER POR-ROK begins to stiffen. Eligible LEED credits : 5
6. Temperature will effect set time. Colder temperatures will extend set time while warmer Regional Materials (MR 5.1 & 5.2)
2 Points
temperatures will shorten set time and workability.
7. For aluminum railing installations CMP recommends the use of Por-Rok. In instances where SUPER Low Emitting Materials (EQ 4.1)
POR- ROK has to be used the aluminum railing must be coated both inside and out. Installing SUPER 1 Point
POR-ROK to exposed aluminum will cause uncontrolled expansion which may result in installation failures.
