Debate Topic :- How is the use of computers good for humankind?


To start with, I’d like to ask a question. How many of you have done the research for this debate
on a computer or a laptop?
ADVANTAGES:-
Computers can take in and process certain kinds of data much faster than we can.
Computers learn much more quickly, too, narrowing complex choices to the most optimal ones.
They have better memories, so they can be fed a large amount of information, and tap into all of it almost
instantaneously.

USES:-
People use the computer at home for distance learning, e-commerce, music, movies, and much more.

Computers are used in hospitals to create a database of patients with their treatment and medical records.

We use computers in schools and colleges all around the world. Computer technologies are important to
guide students digitally and creatively with data visualization.

Computers and the Internet have changed the way people have been doing business. It has become easier to
bring an idea to life and start a business.

Banks use computers to deliver services in a faster and more precise manner. They use a computer to store
customer data, and process money deposits, and withdrawal requests. Machines help banks in reducing
infrastructure costs and improve efficiency.

HOW IT HAS CHANGED OUR LIVES FOR GOOD:-

Computers can bring people closer together and enable contacts with the help of using Emails, Texts, Social
media, etc. It saves time, effort and money compared with letters used, before making the influence of
computers in human life. These days, we rarely use handwritten letters, because most of us have a computer
and the education to make use of it.

Print media, Television and Radio play an important role in our life. They influence computers in
production, control, storage and broadcasting. Computers can create a document, display it on screen,
modify and print it on a printer or publish it in front of the world through the world wide web. A computer
connected to the internet can publish ideas, thoughts, criticism etc, instantly across the world.

In the education sector, teaching and learning reached new pinnacles after using computers in our life. We
can find answers virtually on any subject in a moment and can communicate this information in many ways
in real-time. We can see every educational institution has interaction of students with computers and most of
them are equipped with smart classrooms.

The computer also boosts comfort in our life and provides convenience. Transportation, facilitate the way
people travel. Airways, Roadways and waterways use computers to control their operation. It saves time and
relieves the severity of travel difficulties.

To conclude, computers have changed our life beyond imagination and continue to play important role on
human life and behaviors. It provides advanced facilities for our life and produce effective learning,
production, control and utilization.
