CHAPTER TWO:

PRESENTATION OF HENS ENGINEERING CORE

In this chapter, I will be talking on the history and evolution of HEMS ENGINEERING
CORE, the vision, mission, core, objectives and organization of Hems Engineering Core

CREATION AND HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF HEMS


ENGINEERING CORE

2.1.1 HISTORY AND EVOLUTION OF HEMS ENGINEERING CORE

Hems engineering core is an engineering company founded on the 4 th June 2018 with the
purpose of developing, promoting and encouraging technology activities within Cameroonian
community. For this reason, Hems engineering core was put in place in order to give
opportunity for aspiring Cameroonians waiting to enroll in any of the technology fields. The IT
services offered in the company and the IT courses offered at the academy will help to improve
and automate our economy and its activities. They equally provides other services such as
general hospital supplies of stationaries.
The company belongs to small and medium size enterprise legal status LTD and with a share
capital of 15000000FCFA.

Concerning the EVOLUTION of the company, in the November 2018, it obtained the agreement
and started its activities as a company on 30 th March 2019. Hems Engineering Core is located at
Mile 2 BAMENDA- CAMEROON.

2.2 OBJECTIVES OF HEMS ENGINEERING CORE

HEMS ENGINEERING CORE has as purpose of developing, promoting and encouraging


technology activities within the Cameroon community. For this reason, Hems engineering core
Company was put in place in order to give opportunity for aspiring Cameroonians wanting to
enroll in any of the tech fields. The IT services offered in the company and the IT courses offered
at the academy will help to improve and automate our economy and it activities and its logistics
activities. Hems engineering core has as goal to be the biggest IT company and logistic company
with a prestigious training institution, and branches open in all the 10(ten) regions of the country
in 3 years with headquarters in Bamenda, and branches in other African countries in 5 years. On
this note, our targeted population is people aged is between 10 to 50, employed and unemployed,
Cameroonians and Non-Cameroonians, Anglophones and Francophone, Married and Unmarried,
Male and Female, Illiterates and Literates. And to make the movement of goods with Cameroon
and CEMAC regions more reliable.

2.3 MISSION, VISION AND CORE VALUES

1. MISSION
They have an objective and mission of developing, promoting and offering technical services
within the Cameroonian community. For this reason, Hems Engineering core Company was put in
the place in order to deliver quality engineering services. The IT services they offer in the
company and the IT courses they offer at the academy will help to improve and automate our
economy and its activities and logistics activities. Emphasizing on the development of the quality
services offered to the general public and taking into consideration the real-life situation to have
such an organization environment that answer to the day-to-day needs of the clients. Forced with
serious competition, the structure and the management of the company placed the company
facilities it integration as a reliable

Company to its clients with these objectives in the mind and conscious of the quality services are
the driving force of profit maximization.
2. VISION
Hems Engineering Core have vision to be the biggest IT company and logistic company with a
prestigious training instruction, and branches opened in all the 2 regions of the country in four
years with headquarters in Bamenda,. On this note their targeted population is the people
between the age of 10 to 50, employed and unemployed, Cameroonians and non-Cameroonians,
Anglophones and Francophone, married and unmarried, male and female, illiterates and
literates, to make the movement of their services within Cameroon more reliable. Some which
include the friendliness of personnel quality services and time management as policy. Today
HEC had 20 employment including permanent and non-permanent staff since its creation and up
to date the result of the company has not been the same. The company is moving forward in this
mission and vision as its client’s record increase day to day so too is the increment in quality.

3. CORE VALUE

Hems engineering core helps businesses reimagine how they bring people, data, and processes
to create in a digital-first world.

Hems engineering core partner with organizations to transform them into digital companies
by developing new capabilities to engage better with their customers, empower their
employees, optimize their operations, and transform their products.

At, Hems engineering core we believe that for Cameroon to truly become digital, we need to
make technology accessible and productive for all, irrespective of the language you speak or
read.

2.4 ORGANIGRAM OF HEMS ENGINEERING CORE LTD

2.5 FUNCTION AND DUTIES OF EACH WORKER

1. CEO: The CEO runs the entire show and makes the big decisions based on the
business's direction and actions.

2. GENERAL MANAGER: implement decisions given by the CEO to the other


employees.
3. HR MANAGER: works with the recruitment of employees in the company.
4. Marketer: helps in the enterprise advisement.
5. IT MANAGER: Manages the IT department in the enterprise.
6. RESOURCE MANAGER: In charge of managing the enterprise resources.
7. MERCHADISER: In charge of buy and selling the enterprise services.
8. DELIVERY MANAGER: Takes care of the import and export of
goods in the enterprise.
9. WAREHOUSE KEEPER: In charge of the warehouse.
10. WAREHOUSE STAFFS: Workers in the warehouse.
11. DEVELOPERS: They work in the IT department to develop and
implement new software systems, to train students on the IT field.
