You can load paper into the T120/T520 in three different ways

From a roll From a single sheet As a stack of single sheets

• Only one of these methods can be used at a time: There is only one media path
• Switching from one to another is manual; it is not done automatically
(big difference vs. ARSS supported in Designjet 11x Series)

How to clear paper jams: No media lever!
Consult the User Guide for complete step-by-step instructions

The front panel will display an animation showing how to remove the paper jam.
Important!
Switching off the printer to do that is not necessary, as with predecessors.

Paper mismatch action

A paper is unsuitable if the following are not as specified for the job:
• Paper Type
• Paper Source (roll, multi-sheet tray, or manual feed)
• Paper Size is smaller

• Load the correct paper and resume printing
• Print the job on the already-loaded paper
• Cancel the job

• To initialize a new printhead, new set of inks is required

• Currently apps only supporting A4 sizes, Normal/Best

• Basic troubleshooting: Make sure…

− The printer is updated to the latest version of firmware
− The iOS device is updated to iOS 5.2 or newer version
− Bonjour protocol support is enabled in the printer
− The iOS device and the printer are on the same local network

• Support: AirPrint is considered third-party software,

currently under certification process with Apple,
