(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the MLG well and false spar b
ox.
(2) Remove and retain the access panels:
- For the left wing:
- 574AB Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-008
- 574BB Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-009.
- For the right wing:
- 674AB Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-008
- 674BB Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-009.
(3) If necessary, remove the overwing panel protection Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-42-000-001.

WARNING: BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT YOUR FINGERS. FLAKES OF NICKEL ARE SHARP.
(1) At each fitting use the procedure that follows to protect against corrosion:
(a) Use Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material Ref. 08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton -
(Material Ref. 14SBA1) to remove any contamination from the fitting.
(b) Remove flakes or blisters.
NOTE: We recommend that you use a dental tool or a seal tool (non metallic) to remove
the flakes and the blisters.
(c) During this task, make sure that the base metal is not damaged.
(d) Use a BRUSH - BRISTLED or an SPRAY - BOTTLE, PUMP TYPE (NON AEROSOL) to apply a c
ontinuous thin and smooth coat of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film -
(Material Ref. 12ACB1), to cover all the fitting Ref. ESPM 20-33-30.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the overwing panel protection, if removed Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-42-400-001.
(3) Install the access panels:
