INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The question paper has 5 parts namely, A, B, C, D and E. Answer all the questions.
2. Part – A carries 20 marks, Part – B carries 12 marks, Part – C carries 15 marks, Part – D carries 25
marks, Part – E carries 8 marks.
3. For Part – A questions, only the first written answers will be considered for evaluation.
4. In the Part – D, use graph sheet for the question number 40 on L.P.P
5. Write the question numbers properly as indicated in the question paper.
6. For question having graph, alternate question is given at the end of the question paper in a
separate section in the Part – F for Visually Challenged Students.

32. Solve: x + 2y ≤ 8 , 2x + y≤ 8 , x≥ 0 , y≥ 0 graphically.
33. A manufacture produce and sells bags at Rs.8/unit. His Fixed cost is Rs. 5550 and
the variable cost per bag is Rs 2.45, find i) Revenue Function ii) Cost
Function.
34. Find the image of the point (2,4) on the line 4x – 3y + 1 = 0.
PART – D
VII. Answer any FIVE questions: (5 x 5 = 25)

35. In a class of 150 students, it was found that 95 like Burgers and 79 like Pizzas.
Assuming every student like at least one of the above, find the number of
students who like both Burgers and Pizzas. Show the result by Venn Diagram.

40. The price of a pair of trousers was decreased by 22% to 390. What was the
original price of the trousers?
41. Show that the points (2,-1) , (3,4), (-2,3) and (-3,-2) form a Rhombus.
42. Find the locus of a point equidistant from the point (2,4) and y – axis.
43. Without using Pythagoras theorem, show that the points (4, 4), (3,5) and (-1, -1)
are the vertices of a right-angled triangle.
