General description
This screen is used to parameterize the installation numbering (PCX number, international prefix,
Intercity prefix, recall prefix, alternative system CLIP, private installation number).
Fields description
Installation number
This field is used to define the PCX identification number. The number is sent on a call
from a public network. The last four digits represent the variable part and are defined on
the Public numbering plan screen.
Example:
The number of an installation is 390677100. The following numbers are defined in the
Description public numbering plan:
l 7100 for the attendant,
l 7101 to 7109 for stations 1 to 9.
If station 1 makes an external call, the number sent is 390677101. If station 1 has not been
entered in the public numbering plan, the number sent is the installation number.
Between 11 and 16 digits maximum, depending on the length of the international code.
The maximum number of digits in the installation number varies from 11 to 16 as the
length of the international code varies from 5 digits to no digits. For example, the
Content installation number can have:
l 11 digits (maximum) if the international code is 5 digits long
l 16 digits (maximum) if there is no international code

Recall prefix
This field is used to define the prefix used by the system when making a call following a
recall request.
This field is also used by the system to allocate the resource keys when adding an
Description extension (digital, analog, DECT ...), when the main trunk group prefix is configured as
"ARS" in the internal numbering plan.
Empty recall prefix and ARS for main trunk group prevent extension from initializing.
Default value is 0 or 9 according to country standards.

This field is used for the CLIP (Calling Line Identification Presentation) function. This
function is dependent on the public network and is provided by PBX systems connected to a
public ISDN network (T0, T1, T2 access) or IP network (VoIP). It is used to configure the
number of the caller sent to the external correspondent for a call made from an ISDN
access. This number has priority over the installation number and uses different rules. The
Description caller number sent to the external correspondent is identical irrespective of the station
making the call and corresponds to the alternative system CLIP defined here.
Example:
A company with several sites can always send the same number to its external
correspondents.

Call diversion
This function is used to divert calls. Forwarding enables personal (individual) or group calls
to be re-routed immediately. The type of internal and/or external calls affected by the
active diversion can be specified during handset configuration.
There are several types of diversion:
l Follow me: forwarding is activated by the call destination handset.
l Do not disturb: the user refuses all calls, internal calls are released and external
calls are transferred to the active attendants group.
l Immediate group diversion: calls sent to all groups linked to the user are
transferred to another programmed destination number (in advance or on activation

of the service).
l Immediate handset diversion: individual calls are transferred to the programmed
destination number (in advance or on activation of the service).
l Text answer diversion: internal calls are released after a text message is displayed
and external calls are transferred to the active attendants group,
l Selective diversion: depending on the callers' number, the calls may or may not be
Description routed to a pre-programmed destination number,
l Diversion on paging: calls are routed to the recipient's pager,
l Diversion on busy: if the handset is busy, calls are transferred to the programmed
destination number (in advance or on activation of the service),
l Disconnect group: the user refuses calls intended for one or more Hunting Groups or
Attendant Groups to which he belongs.

Remote substitution
General description
This screen is used to set the parameters for the remote substitution function (or DISA: Direct Inward
Service Access). This function enables:
l the user of a terminal to make a business call from the public network (on the public or private
network) by calling his or her extension and using all available functions (in particular his/her
individual speed dialing),
l remote forwarding; even when away, an extension user can, from an MF handset, activate, modify
or cancel immediate internal or external call forwarding from his or her own extension.
The user is responsible for communication with the system and the cost of the system link - the external
call is charged to the company.
l assign a DDI number to the remote substitution function in the Public numbering plan,
l authorize access from the terminal to the remote substitution function on the Handset
configuration: Category of services (Part 2) screen,
l authorize the system to join two external lines on the Feature Design (Part 3) screen,
l complete connection matrix on the Joining screen.
Restrictions
The availability of the remote substitution function is subject to software licenses.
The external terminal from which the user calls to activate the remote substitution function must be
able to post-dial the number in voice frequency (VF).
Only one MF receiver is available in the system at any given moment for the remote substitution
function.

Provider / Destination
This field is used to assign a provider of network services to each trunk group in a list.
These providers are defined on the screen Providers / Destinations (see Procedure). The
assignment order influences the selection of one provider over another.
If a provider has been defined for a trunk group, the system checks the validity of the
provider for the relevant time range in accordance with the parameters defined on the
screen ARS Hours.
If the provider is valid:
l the trunk group is selected if its link category 3 allows,
Description l otherwise the system overflows to the next trunk group.
If all fields are empty, the trunk group can only be selected if no provider of network
services is programmed for a day group in a time range.
It is also possible to associate each trunk group in a list with an internal recipient defined
on the screen Providers / Destinations. This is used in particular:
l to force an internal call: when a user tries to call a subscriber (connected to the
same system or to the same private network) by dialing his public number, the ARS
mechanism transforms the public number into an internal number,
l to select the internal recipients of a call depending on the time.
The procedural files stipulate that the attendants providing network services, the internal

recipients, the day groups and the time ranges must have been defined.

Hours
General description
This screen is used to define the ARS time ranges used to select a provider offering the best cost
conditions at a given time.
It is used to:
l divide up the day into ARS time ranges,
l associate each time range and each day group defined on the screen Day group, a maximum of 4
providers providing network services.
The order of association is not relevant: the selection of a particular provider appears on the screen
Trunk groups list rather than on this screen.
It is also possible to associate each time range and each day group with internal recipients defined on
the screen Providers / Destinations. This is used in particular:
l to force an internal call: when a user tries to call a subscriber (connected to the same system or
to the same private network) by dialing his public number, the ARS mechanism transforms the
public number into an internal number,
