About:

We are a SaaS industrial-AI start-up in the business of accelerating the adoption of


Industry 4.0. In other words, we allow manufacturers to extract more value from their
legacy infrastructure and build Smart Manufacturing Factories. We do this with our Smart
Industry platform which puts power directly into the hands of subject matter experts
(SMEs) and solves key challenges faced by process manufacturing industries when
implementing digital transformation. Using Quartic Platform, the SMEs are able to create
and deploy AI and IIoT applications to significantly increase productivity and operational
performance without the need for proficiency in programming or data science. The
Quartic Platform is used by Fortune 100 and 500 companies in pharmaceutical, food &
beverage, CPG, and other industries for process optimization, predictive maintenance,
and energy optimization applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to


analyze industrial datasets and provide insights specific to pharmaceutical
manufacturing challenges.
• Design and optimize algorithms for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and
process optimization to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and
translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to guide model
development and problem-solving strategies.
• Create and maintain robust data pipelines for efficient data extraction,
transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Develop and enhance data visualization tools to communicate complex results to
technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Work on projects related to model interpretability to ensure transparency and
trust in AI solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, particularly those
applicable to small datasets and chemical analytics.
Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied


Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience working in AI and data science.
• A minimum of 2+ years in team leadership roles.
• Proven track record in managing AI/ML product development
• Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques is required, understand of
mathematical principles behind techniques like hypothesis testing and logistic
regression.
• Experience in applying Bayesian optimization and using decision trees is
essential.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Demonstrable experience in optimization techniques and their application in real-
world scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with model interpretability frameworks and methods.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on
complex tasks.
