C. Lesson Proper

So, class our lesson for today is about the Reflective

Practice Through Performances Evaluation. (Students listen attentively)

Okay, let’s start with!

WHAT IS PERFORMANCE EVALUATION? (Students will read the definition)

So, class please read the definition of Assessment.  Performance evaluation is the process of
assessing and measuring an individual's or an
organization's effectiveness in achieving
goals and objectives.

Okay thank you! So, class when we talk about

Reflective practices through our performance evaluation
it is a process how we evaluate or identify our learning
and teaching system, by reflecting your own
performance as a teacher or student, if they align with
your learning and teaching goals, this methods helps us
to reflect deeply in our performance evaluation and (Students listen attentively)
testing them out through everyday actions by asking
yourself, if I am doing my part well as a teacher or as a
student did I learn something or did I apply what the
teacher taught.

But the question is what are the practices that we reflect

to our performance evaluation:

There are several practices how we reflect our

performance evaluation.

Let's start first with self-assessment. Anyone who

(Student will read the definition)
wants to read the definition? Okay Mr./Ms. _______
 Begin by assessing your own performance
objectively. Reflect on your strengths,
weaknesses, and areas where you could have
performed better. They can identify specific
examples of their work and reflect on their
effectiveness.
Okay thank you! So, here in self-assessment it contains
the identifying strengths and weaknesses. Identifying
your strengths and weaknesses helps our performance (Students listen attentively)
and effectiveness in any form of learning.

By doing self-assessment, you can rate your own

performances, and here you can easily identify your
strengths and weaknesses. If they align with your
learning goals and standard.

Having learning goals and standard through your

performances, you can easily adjust and improve
different areas of your study.
(Student will read the definition)
Next is areas for improvement. Anyone who wants to
read the definition? Okay Mr./Ms. _______
 Identify specific areas where you need
improvement. Reflect on the reasons behind
the shortcomings and the potential factors that
influenced them. Consider the skills,
knowledge, or behaviors that need to be
developed or enhanced.
Okay thank you! So, here in areas for improvement it
contains the shortcomings and potential factors in
learning system. beginning with the self-assessment,
we can immediately see the potential that need to
enhance and shortcomings that needs to be improved.

So, when we are identifying areas for improvement, it is

important to Consider the skills, knowledge, and
behaviors. Because the outcome of your performance (Students listen attentively)
depends on it.

When we talk about areas for improvement as a student,

what are the areas in your studies that you want to
improve on?

This type of practice is ongoing growth and

improvement to us, if we are still studying these
practices can be used by reflecting and identifying what
areas in your learning should have improvement.

Next is continuous reflection and adjustment. Anyone

who wants to read the definition? Okay Mr./Ms. (Student will read the definition)
_______
 Reflect on your performance and
progress throughout the process. Regularly
assess your actions, decisions, and outcomes
to determine if they align with your goals.
Adjust your approach as needed and continue
to reflect on your performance for ongoing
growth and improvement.

So, class when we say continuous reflection and

adjustment it talks about the reflection of your
performances and progress throughout the process.
Meaning to say Regularly assess your actions,
decisions, and outcomes to determine if they align with (Students listen attentively)
your goals. So, in this situation you must continue to
reflect and adjust regularly through your actions,
decisions, skills, knowledge, and behavior because it
has a big impact on your performance evaluation and
outcomes.
Are we clear class when it comes to several practices (Yes Sir)
how we reflect our performance evaluation.

So now let’s proceed to the 3 components of reflective

practice through performance evaluation.
(Students listen attentively)
 Student as Evaluator
 Peers as Evaluators
 Supervisors as Evaluators

Let's start first with the student as evaluator. Anyone

who wants to read the definition? Okay Mr./Ms. (Student will read the definition)
_______
 Students may have the opportunity to
provide feedback and evaluation on their
professors and evaluating themselves as a
student providing feedback. This practice can
foster a more interactive and reflective
learning environment, offering students a
chance to contribute to the improvement of
their educational experience.

Next is Peers as Evaluators. When you heard peer what

comes to your mind?

When we say peer, it refers to group of people that

share commonalities.

For example - if you are working in a school as a

teacher your co-teacher can be considered as your peer
because, you share the same job, the same duty and you
have understood the same responsibility. In classroom,
you can consider your classmate as a peer because all of
you are student of that specific classroom that's share
the same ideas, including student responsibilities, and
the classroom activities.

So let us first define What is peer evaluation. Anyone

who wants to read the definition? Okay Mr./Ms. (Student will read the definition)
_______  Peer evaluation is a type of performance
evaluation that is carried out by one or more
people with common abilities. This is a method
for keeping a high level of quality while
improving output.

Okay thank you, so, according to my research peer

evaluation is an effective way of collaborative learning
and evaluation. Because we are able to receive feedback
from what our teammates, classmates, or coworker on
regards of our performance and that helps us to assess
ourself and action. In connection, we as someone who is
being evaluating by our peers can see if there are things
we need to change improve more avoid on the been
performance. In short peer evaluation can be realize
strength and weakness and can maintain a high level of
quality while in doing output or performance.
(Student will read the definition)
What is the purpose of peer evaluation. Anyone who  To help peers keep on track, identify
wants to read the definition? Okay Mr./Ms. _______ mistakes, learn problem solving skills that
will allow growth, and allow managers to
discover is their talents within the team
members.

So, peer evaluation helps us to monitor our

performance and to allow ourselves to monitor other
performance as well or our peer’s performance if they
are one who will be evaluated. It also identifies
mistakes and by having identify mistakes we are able to
make solutions that will serve as the key for us to grow
and improve our performance.

Another peer evaluation allows everyone to be the

judge or to be the one who will criticize his/her peers
performance or output. It will give the opportunity for
evaluators to practice his way of judging a product or
performance and at the same time will help the one who
is being evaluated to be knowledgeable on his/her
performance about the strength and the weaknesses. (Student will read the definition)

 They are individuals who oversee and

provide guidance to teachers. They may be an
Next is supervisors as evaluators. Anyone who wants to educational administrator, department head,
read the definition? Okay Mr./Ms. _______ lead teacher, or mentors who support and
evaluate the teaching performance of their
college.

Ok thank you, so class when we say supervisors, they

are the ones who are responsible for observing teachers
in the classroom, providing feedback, offering support,
and promoting professional growth and development.
Their main objective is to enhance the quality of
teaching, promote professional development among
educators, and ultimately improve student achievement
and success in educational settings.

Next, we have the Evaluators. Anyone who wants to read (Student will read the definition)
the definition? Okay Mr./Ms. _______
 They are individuals who assess and
evaluate the performance of teachers and
instructional practice. Evaluators in teaching
may include school administrators,
educational specialists, and other
professionals responsible for conducting
assessments to measure the efficiency of
teaching and learning activities.
Okay when we say evaluators, they are the ones who
are responsible for assessing and evaluating the
performance of educators in a school or educational
setting. These evaluators observe and assess teachers'
(Students listen attentively)
instructional practices, classroom management
techniques, and interaction with students. Their main
objective of evaluators in teaching practice is to
evaluate, support, and promote the continuous
improvement of teaching quality, and the advancement
of student learning in educational settings.

Next, we the Supervisors as evaluators. Anyone who wants

to read the definition? Okay Mr./Ms. _______ (Student will read the definition)

classroom, evaluate their teaching techniques
and practices, offer constructive feedback,
and assist them in ongoing professional
growth and improvement. The primary
