THE ADVANCE PLAN ASSEMBLIES BE GOD

SUNDAY SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES OF GOD.

The purpose of the Advance Plan

o Guide Christian education leaders in the establishment and development of effective Christian preparation in each
evangelical church.
o Assist in the establishment and maintenance of an effective Sunday School.
o Serve as a rule to measure and evaluate the work carried out within the Sunday School.
o Present the principles, standards, and steps sorely needed by competent leaders who wish to build an effective
Sunday school.

Practical uses.
o The Advancement Plan assists in the evaluation of Sunday School through a point system.
o The Sunday School with the highest score can receive its well-deserved recognition, while the one with the lowest
score can be encouraged and inspired to improve its ranking in the future.
o The Plan of Advancement provides a means to unite and encourage the brothers in their work for the Lord
throughout the nation and throughout the Americas.

How to use.
National, Regional, District, Sectional Leaders.
o It is an instrument in the hands of the national director to guide him in a more objective work of the Sunday School.
o The local evaluation will allow the national director to know the status of the national Sunday School department.
o According to the results obtained in the evaluation sheet, the different levels of Sunday School leadership can join
forces to support the different needs that the annual evaluation allows them to know.

The Pastor and the local leaders.

o The Advance Plan will be an indicator or thermometer for the pastor. It will help you measure Sunday School and take
its spiritual temperature.
either The Pastor and the Sunday School director will use it to find the way to a better school.
either The Advance Plan cannot accomplish anything by itself. It is necessary to have a good plan, follow it
faithfully, energetically and
systematically. The Advancement Plan clearly guides what needs to be done to Advance your Sunday School.

Evaluation Score.
o The Advancement Plan consists of ten steps or aspects for the organization and development of the Sunday School.
The maximum score will reach a total of one hundred points (100 points).
or 90 to 100 points will be called Golden Crown Sunday School and will receive the corresponding diploma.
o 80 to 89 points will be called Silver Crown Sunday School, and you will be awarded the corresponding diploma
to highlight your progress.
or 70 to 79 points will be called Corona Azul Sunday School, and will receive the corresponding diploma.
o The Sunday School that has less than 70 points, but that is working for its improvement and effectiveness in
educational evangelism, will be called a Cooperating Sunday School, and will be awarded the corresponding
diploma.
o The GOLD CROWN, SILVER CROWN, AND BLUE CROWN Schools each receive a gold seal. There is no seal for
the Cooperator diploma.

How to Enter it
o The Pastor must read the Advance Plan.
1
either The Pastor and Sunday School Director should read and study the Advancement Plan together.
either The Pastor and Director will decide which steps will be given the most emphasis. They will pray
together and prepare to
present the plan to the other Sunday School leaders.
o A special meeting of Sunday School leaders and teachers is called to announce the points that will be given
more emphasis.
o When all staff are familiar with the Advancement Plan, a special presentation is made with the creativity that
characterizes the leaders so that the church in general knows it. The Advancement Plan is not a project of
the leadership and Sunday School teachers, it is a project of the entire church.
o In some cases it is convenient for the Pastor and directors of the Sunday School to present the Advancement
Plan to the deacons for their approval and further support.
