ANSWERS TO Tricky Questions

AND DIFFICULT FROM THE BIBLE
This is an organized and complicated guide, by Pastor Carlos Javier Hernández,
with the aim of guiding and in a practical manner.
Ideal for discipleship at REFAM (Family Friendship Reunions)

All quotes are taken from the RVR 1960 United Bible Societies version.
PRESENTATION

WHAT ARE Tricky Questions : They are double-meaning questions that seek to
compromise or provoke the person who answers, to expose them in an
uncomfortable situation...

THEY ARE DIFFICULT QUESTIONS: They are those that we consider cannot be
answered in any way, people ask about God, about the life of the death of
salvation, about the devil of images, about Tithes, in short, for everything there is
response in the light of the word.

WHY IS EVANGELISM NECESSARY? “Because necessity is imposed on us”

and if we don't do it, then who.

Today we face all types of arguments and concepts regarding God and his word
and it is necessary to be trained and have basic command of Bible doctrines and
questions and answers to all audiences.

HOW IS IT DONE? The idea is that this small manual serves to be clear about
some issues and how to respond to difficult leading questions.

INTRODUCTION
Before going into details about this project, we believe a basic illustration of the
reasons we have for putting this copy in your hands is necessary.

WHAT IS EVANGELISM?
Every human being has violated divine norms and for this reason we have won the
consequences and are condemned to eternal punishment. The impossibility of man
in the face of the problem moved God to manifest himself in the flesh and offer his
life in our place, in order to open a path for us in which through faith and
obedience we can be saved. This plan is called GOSPEL.
THIS IS HOW THE GOSPEL IS DEFINED.
Etymologically: “good news that rejoices the heart of man”
Theologically: “pleasant proclamation of the redemptive activity of the Lord Jesus
on behalf of man”
The apostle Paul defines the gospel as: “the power of God for salvation to
everyone who believes” Romans 1:16 The Lord, the first preacher of the gospel in
the world, was the Lord Jesus Christ. Saint Mark 1:14 Evangelization has been
entrusted as a primary task to the church of all times.
I hope that this manual serves as a guide for evangelists, Pastors, leaders (of
REFAM) committed to the Lord to spread the message of salvation in the name of
Jesus.
In a kind of apologetics, the answers are supported by biblical quotes from the
RVR 1960 version of Casidoro and Reina Valera.
Many have complicated and cited certain information that is in the public domain,
which we put in your hands today hoping that it will be a great blessing. And may
many people know the true God and Eternal life, our Lord Jesus Christ; and that
the answers compiled here serve to clarify doctrinal doubts of those who need to
come out of the darkness and know the truths offered by the light of the word of
God.

PEOPLE GO TO HELL?

God is love and does not want people to go to hell (Ez.18:32; 1Tim 1:15;
2P.3:9) Hell is the destination that man chooses by despising God and his
gospel to live in the sin (Mt.7:13-14; Jn.3:18; Jn 19:3-6)

6. FROM AS MANY RELIGIONS, HOW CAN I KNOW WHO HAS THE

TRUTH?
Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth and the life.” Jn.14:6
“He who follows me will not walk in darkness.” Jn.8:12

He who wants to do the will of GOD will know the truth: Jn.7:17; 10:27;
10:9; 3:20-21; 1Jn. 4:2-3, 6

7. IS IT TRUE THAT JESUS WAS BORN OF A VIRGIN?

Is.7:14 and 9:6, 7; Rom 8:3; Mt.1:18-25; Lk.1:31-35; 1 Ti. 3:16; Heb.2:9-18.

8. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER DEATH?

When one dies, everything does not end there (Isaiah 26:19)... The body dies
and is buried but the soul continues to exist because it is immortal. Jesus
himself said it: “Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul”
(Mt.10:28). Both the good and the bad will be resurrected. John 5:28-29,
Jesus says: “Do not marvel at this; for the time will come when all who are
in the tombs will hear his voice; and those who did good will come out to
the resurrection of life; but those who did evil to the resurrection of
damnation.”
9. WHAT SHOULD I DO TO BE SAVED?
This is the plan of salvation that God has for the sinner:
1. Recognize that he is a sinner: Rom.3:10, 23; Ps.14:1-3.2.
2. Understand that sin separates man from God:
Rom.6:23, Rev.20:15, Is. 59:2.
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died to save us: Ro.5:8; 1 Pet.2:24; Acts 16:31;
Jn.8:24, Jn.20:31.
4. Repent of your sins: Acts 3:19; Luke 13:3; Eph.2:8; Acts2:38; Mr.1:15;
Acts 17:30; 2P.3:9.
5. Be Baptized: Mt.28:19; Acts2:38; Mr.16:16; 1P.3:21; Acts22:16;
Gal.3:27.
6. Persevere to the end: Mt.24:13; Heb.12:14.
10. DOES THE BIBLE SAY THAT GOD SAID “HELP YOURSELF AND
“I WILL HELP YOU”?

No, these words are not found in the sacred scriptures. There is nothing we
can do to achieve salvation (Eph.2:8-9); Only the death of Christ could do
the complete work of eternal redemption (Heb.9:12; 1Jn.1:7; 1.Co. 15:3)
11.WHAT WAS THE “PROHIBITED FRUIT”, AN APPLE OR SEX?

The forbidden fruit was not Sex! Sex itself is not bad nor is it a sin.
However, sex can be misused and abused or put at the service of sinful
motivations, almost always outside of marriage. Note that even before man
sinned, God created Eve (ready for reproduction) for Adam. This is
obviously God made it so that man could “reproduce and fill the garden.” So
how could sex be the forbidden fruit? Without sex, how would they
reproduce?
The Bible does not describe the “fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil, much less identify it with an apple. What the Bible says is that it
was a fruit and that it looked good for eating, pleasing to the eyes and
desirable…” (Genesis 2:8-9, 16-17;3:6).
The fruit symbolizes disobedience... which is the reason for all sin. This
would include misusing sex, as well as any other type of sin.
12. WILL I HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE AFTER DEATH?
No. Pr. 9:17 and 29:1; 1 Cor. 6:9-11;Gal.5:19-21;Rev. 20:11-15;21:8 and
22:14,15.
13. WHEN WILL THE END OF THE WORLD BE?
You don't know if not GOD. Mt 24:36;Mr.13:32; 1 Pet.3:10;
We must always be prepared: Lk.21:34-36;Lk.12:40;1 Pd.3:11-12 “AND IN
THE WAY IT IS ESTABLISHED FOR MEN TO DIE ONLY ONCE, AND
AFTER THIS THE JUDGMENT …HEBREWS 9:27”

IV. ANSWERS ON THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH

1. WHAT IS BIBLICAL BAPTISM LIKE?
Each and every one of the first Christians was baptized in
NAME OF JESUS CHRIST:
Three thousand on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:38-41)
The Samaritans (Acts 8:14-16)
The Ephesians (Acts. 10:47-48)
The apostle Paul (Acts 22:16; Gal. 3:27)
The Corinthians (1 Cor.1:13)
There is no record in the Bible of a single believer who was baptized in the
name of the father, son and holy spirit. Mt. 28:19 is the commandment of the
Lord where he says: “…baptizing them in the NAME of the father, of the
son and of the holy spirit” he does not say the names as if he were speaking
of many, but of one: in the name, which is Jesus Christ (Gá 3:16; Acts 4:11-
12;Phil.2:9)
52. WHY ARE WE BAPTIZED BY IMMERSSION AND NOT BY SPRINKLE?
The idea is to baptize by sprinkling (sprinkling water on the person's head) is
contradictory to the meaning of the word baptism which means "to
immerse." The Bible says that those baptized were immersed in water: Acts
8:38-39; Mr. 1:9-10. The Bible also teaches us that baptism is identification
with the death and burial of Jesus Christ (Rom.6:3;Col.2:12)
53. IS BAPTISM NECESSARY FOR SALVATION?
Yeah. 1P.3:21;Jn.3:5;Mr.16:16.
54. IS BAPTISM FOR FORGIVENESS OF SINS?
Yeah. Acts 2:38;22.16; Tit.3:5; 1Co.6:11; 1 Jn.2:12; Lk.24:47
55 WHY THEN WAS THE THIEF ON THE CROSS SAVED WITHOUT BEING
BAPTIZED?
Because even the Lord Jesus had not given the command to baptize. This
commandment was after the resurrection (Mt.28:19;Mr.16:16). The fulfillment of
this commandment began on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:38), from then on all
believers were baptized.
56. WHY DO WE SPEAK IN OTHER LANGUAGES?
We speak in other tongues because by believing God as the scripture says we have
received the baptism of the holy spirit, which is a sign of speaking in other tongues
(Jn.7:38-39; Mr.16:17; IS 28:11- 12; 2:1-4; Acts. 10:44-46). Tongues are a sign to
unbelievers that God is with us.
57 WHY DO WE TITHE?
Because it is a commandment of God (Mal.3:10; He.7:2) because it brings material
and spiritual blessing to those who give it (Mal.3:10)
58. WHY SHOULD WE LIVE IN HOLINESS?
Heh. 12:14; Col.1:22; Eph.1:4;2.21;5:27;1P.1:15-16;2:9.
59. WHAT DOES PENTECOSTAL MEAN?
Fifty-one days after the death and resurrection of our savior and Lord Jesus Christ,
God poured out his holy spirit on a group of people gathered in the upper room of
Jerusalem (Acts, chapter. 2) That day on which the church was born was called the
day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1).
The apostle Peter preaching said that this glorious experience was not only for that
generation, but for every person in any time and place who sought God because the
promise is for you, and for your children, and for all who are far away (Acts. 2:39).
We identify with everything related to that experience of receiving the holy spirit,
that is why the “PENTECOSTAL” church. What we live for:
1. A personal experience with God.
2. Power to be healed, freed from vices and transported to a dimension beyond
simply living.
3. Joy within your soul, which flows like rivers of living water.
4. Peace that surpasses any understanding.
5. Knowledge of Apostolic doctrine; the same primitive doctrines that the
disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ practiced.
60. IS IT NECESSARY TO CONGREGATE?
Because where two or three are gathered in his name, there is God: Mt.
18:20;Ps.133. It should be the desire of every Christian: Ps.27:4; Psa.84:10; Psalms
122:1; Ps: 84:1-2
61. WHAT IS THE TRUE CHURCH?
 Church is not a building, but the congregation of those whom Christ
has called out of darkness into the marvelous light of the gospel
(1P.2:9). The true church has the following characteristics:
 Its foundation is Christ (1Co.3:11)
 Teaches what the apostles taught (Eph.2:20; Mt.28:20; Acts2:41-42)
 He has one God or Lord, one faith and one baptism (Eph.4:5)
62. WHY ARE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS PART OF OUR SERVICE?
“Praise him with the sound of a trumpet; Praise him with psaltery and harp. Praise
him with tambourine and dance; Praise him with strings and flutes. Praise him with
resounding cymbals. Praise him with cymbals of joy.” Ps.150:3-5.
63. WHY DO WE APPLAUD AT OUR MEETINGS?
“All peoples, clap your hands; Acclaim Dio with a voice of joy.” Ps.47:1
64. WHY DO WE RAISE OUR HANDS?
1 Tim. 2:8, I want therefore that men should pray in every place, lifting up holy
hands, without anger or strife.
“Lift up your hands to the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.”Ps.134:2
65WHY DO WE LAY HANDS TO PRAY FOR THE SICK?

v. ANSWERS ABOUT THE UNIQUENESS OF GOD
Oneness is a theological term that refers to God, meaning that he is absolutely one,
alone, unique and indivisible. It indicates that no one is like God and that there is
only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Galatians 3:20).
66. WHICH TEXTS PROVE THAT GOD IS ONE?

shoulder; and will call his wonderful name, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
 Jesus said: I and the father are one, so the Jews took up stones again to
attack him. Jesus answered them many good works I have shown you from
my father; for who of them do you stone at me? The Jews answered him, We
did not stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy, because you, being a
man, made yourself God. (John 10:30) Jn. 14:9; Jn.14:10; Jn.14:18; Cole
2:9.
68. IS JESUS THE HOLY SPIRIT?
The Holy Spirit is simply God. (John 4:24) says: God is spirit, and those who
worship him must worship him in spirit and truth.
(Ephesians 4:4-16) says: one body, and one spirit, as you were also called in the
same hope of your calling; one lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and father of
all, who is over all, and through all, and in all.

72. WHY SHOULD WE WORSHIP JESUS?
 The wise men: “They fell down and worshiped him” (Matthew 2:11)
 The disciples who were in the boat came and praised him (Matthew 14:33)
 The man blind from birth said to him: -I believe, sir, and he adored him.
(Jn.9:38)

worshiped him” (Matthew 28:9)
 And the disciples in the great commission when they saw him, they
worshiped him (Matthew:28:17)
 The disciples at the ascension (Luke 24:51)
 Heaven is also an object of worship: “To him who sits on the throne and to
the lamb, be praise, honor, glory and power; forever and ever. The four
living creatures said: Amen; and the twenty-four elders fell on his face and
worshiped him who lives forever and ever.” (Rev.5:14)
 And let all the angels of God worship him. (Heb.1:6).
 To him be the glory: (Rom.11:36; Eph.3:21)
 Be the glory and majesty (Jude 25)
 Before him every knee will bow (Phil.2:10)

SAW. RESPONSES TO CATHOLICS

73. WHY DON'T WE BAPTIZE CHILDREN?
Because neither Jesus nor the apostles did it. All those baptized were young
or adults (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38-41;8-12; 10:45-48;19:1-5; 22:16). This
indicates that baptism is for those who are aware that they are sinners and
must repent, and a newborn child has no discernment and cannot repent.
Children must be presented at the temple for blessing (Num.6:22-27). Jesus
was presented as a baby (Luke 2:21-22). Jesus blessed the children
(Mr.19:13-16).

74. WHY DON'T WE WORSHIP THE VIRGIN?

Because the Bible does not teach it, because she did not make heaven, she
did not create the world nor is she a goddess nor did she die on the cross; On
the contrary, Mary exalts Jesus by calling him: “God my savior” (Luke 1:46-
55). And she herself said: 2Do everything that he (Jesus) tells you” (Jn.2:5)
and Jesus taught not to worship Mary (Lk.11:27-28; Mt.12:46-50; Mr. 3:31-
35; Luke 8:19-21). The only one who is worthy of worship is our God
because the commandment says “You shall worship the Lord your God and
only him shall you serve” (Deut.6:13; Mt.4:10; Rev.4:10-11; 5:12- 13; 15:4).
Not even the angels of heaven are worthy of worship (Rev.22:8-9).
75. DID MARY HAVE MORE CHILDREN?
Yes, the Bible says that Joseph “did not know her (Mary) until she gave
birth to her firstborn son” (Mt.1:25). If there was a first son, there had to be a
second and the Bible speaks of Mary's other sons with proper names: James,
Joseph, Simon, Judas and she also had more daughters8Mt.13:55-56;
Mr.6:4; Jn.7:1-5; 1Co.9:5; Gal.1:19). These were brothers of Jesus according
to the flesh. Brothers according to the flesh and brothers in faith are not the
same (Jn.2:12; Mt.12:50).
76. DID MARY GO UP TO HEAVEN?
No, “No one ascended into heaven except he who came down from heaven,
the son of man who is in heaven” (John 3:13); “God bowed down from the
heavens” (Ps.18:9), “God went up with joy” (Ps.46:5); “He who descended
is the same one who also ascended” (Eph.4:8-10).
77. CAN MARY INTERCEDE FOR SINNERS?
There is no biblical record that any sinner had to go after Mary. Neither she,
nor a saint nor anyone else can do it.
The only mediator is Christ (1Tim.2:5).
The only advocate is Christ (1Jn.2:1).
The only intercessor is Christ (Rom.8:34).
78. WHY DON'T WE WORSHIP THE CROSS?
The cross or tree was a type of curse (Deut.21:22-23; Gal.3:13; Heb.12:2).
There is no reason to worship our savior's instrument of death nor does the
Bible teach it. Faith must not be placed in the cross, but in what “was
accomplished” on the cross (Rom.5:6-8; Col.1:20; 1Co.1:18), since through
this sacrifice we find the forgiveness of sins.
79. WHY DO EVANGELICALS NOT CONFESS?
Yes we confess, but as the Bible says (Mr.2:7; Jn.8:2-10; Ps.103:1-3;
Dn.9:9). Based on this, sins should be confessed to God alone (1Jn.1:9;
Ps.32:5).
80. WHY DON'T YOU CELEBRATE HOLY WEEK?
Because the so-called Holy Week is a ritual and tradition of the popular
church, the Bible teaches us to live every week in holiness (Lk.1:74-75;
1P.1:15-16; 2P.3:11-12 ).
81. IS THERE PURGATORY?
No, the word purgatory is not found in the Bible. According to the Bible
there are only two destinies, salvation or eternal life and eternal damnation
(Dn.12:2; Jn.5:28-29; 2Thes.1:7-10; Rev.20:11-15).
82. DO GOOD WORKS SAVE?
No, no one can be justified by his works, man is saved by faith in Jesus
Christ (Eph.2:8-9; 2Tim.1:9; Gal.2:16). Therefore we are not saved by good
works but to do good works (Eph.2:19).
83. DOES RELIGION SAVE?
No, the Bible says that the only thing that saves is Jesus Christ (Luke 19:10;
2:10-11; John 4:42; Acts 4:11-12). You can be a good religious and yet not
be saved, it is necessary to be born again (Jn.3:1-10)
84. WHY SHOULD IMAGES NOT BE VENERATED?
God strictly prohibits making images to honor or venerate them. This
prohibition is the second of the ten commandments (Ex.20:4-5) and is called
idolatry. In the Salt 115 says that the gods or idols that men make do not
speak, they do not see, they do not hear, they do not smell, their hands are
not useful for palpating nor their feet for walking; that, just as those idols are
those who make them and those who trust in them. The Bible condemns
idolatry in all its forms: 1Co.5:10; 6:9;8:7; 10:7,14; Acts 17:16; Rev.21:8;
22:15; Col.3:5; Gal.5:20; 1Sa.15:23; Ez.23:49; To know more about the
images, read the book of Baruch 6:3 to 72 in the Catholic Bible.
85. WHY IS THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE MISSING SOME BOOKS FROM
THE CATHOLIC BIBLE?
Because these books do not appear in the Hebrew canon, that is, they are
books called Apocrypha that were only included by the Catholic Church in
the 16th century. Proof that these books are not divinely inspired is 2
Maccabees 15:38-39 where the writer himself declares it. Another proof is
that none of the New Testament writers make reference to these books.
86. WHY DO CHRISTIANS NOT COMMUNION?
The Bible does not speak of taking communion, but of participating in the
Lord's Supper (1Co.11:23-26), which is the breaking of bread and wine
(fruit of life) as a symbol of the body and blood of Christ. . However, when
communion takes place, the priest only makes the faithful partakers of the
bread (host) and drinks the wine himself, but the Lord Jesus also said:
“Drink of it, all of you” (Mt.26:27).
87. WHY DO PASTORS GET MARRIED?
The ministers of the new testament, including the apostles, were married
(1aCo.9:5). Among them was Peter whom the Catholic Church calls the first
pope and whose mother-in-law was healed by Jesus (Mt.8:14). The Bible
says: “Therefore it is fitting that the bishop be blameless, the husband of one
wife” (1Tim.3:2). Prohibiting marriage is violating the word of God that
says “it is not good for the man to be alone” (Gen.2:18), and as the apostle
Paul prophesied in 1Tim.4:1-3, it is a doctrine of demons.
88. WHO ARE THE SAINTS AND CAN THEY BE OUR MEDIATORS?
According to the Bible, every true Christian is a saint. Saint is a person who
has turned away from evil and follows Jesus Christ. There is no indication
that a person can be made a saint after his death. In the scriptures, saints are
always living people, never dead (Eph.1:1; Phil.1:1; Rom.1:7 and 16:15;
1Co.1:24 and 2a 1:1). So if we want a “saint” to pray for us. But if we try to
communicate with people who have died, what else can it be but a form of
spiritualism? The scriptures are against the idea that the living can be
favored or benefited by prayers to or through the dead as it is an
abomination before God (Deut.18:10-11; Is.8:19; Eccl.9: 5)

VII. ANSWERS ABOUT THE TRINITY

88. WHO IS THE FATHER?
Jesus said: “If you knew me, you would know my father also, and from now on
you know and have seen him” (John 14:7). “He who has seen me has seen me the
father” (Jn.14:9); “I and the father are one” (Jn.14:18). Only a father could leave
orphaned children, but he said he would not leave us orphans.
Isaiah also said referring to Christ, who is the eternal father (Is.9:6).
90. WHAT DOES “AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD” MEAN?
Referring to God, the word “right hand” cannot mean right hand because God is
spirit (Jn.4:24) and has no flesh or bones (Lk.24:39), no one could become either to
the left or to the right. neither above nor below God because he fills everything
with his presence (Numbers 14:21; Eph.4:10).
Right hand means in biblical figurative language “place of power” thus we see that
it speaks of the “right hand of the power of God” (Mark 14:62), “Your right hand
has been magnified in power” (E.15:6 ,12), “The right hand of the majesty on
high” (Heb.1:3). The text “with his feathers he will cover you and under his wings
you will be safe” (Ps.91:4) does not mean that God has feathers and wings.
91. IS THE TRINITY SHOWN IN THE BAPTISM OF JESUS?
When Jesus was baptized, the holy spirit descended in bodily form like a dove and
a voice was heard in heaven saying: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased” (Mt.3:16-17). The dove was a symbolic sign that only John the Baptist
saw to know who the Christ was (Jn.1:32,33); John did not see the spirit because a
spirit cannot be seen, he saw something descend like a dove that symbolizes the
holy spirit. The voice from heaven was not someone else, Jesus is the omnipotent
God who is in all places (Mt.18:20). Deut.4:39 says: “Jehovah is God in heaven
above and on earth beneath and there is no other.” Furthermore, Jesus when he was
on earth said: “No one ascended to heaven except he who came down from
heaven; “the son of man, who is in heaven.” So as a man he was on earth being
baptized by John and as God he was in heaven and everywhere.
92. IF JESUS IS GOD, WHY DID HE PRAY?
Jesus prayed because he was “in the days of his flesh” (Heb.5:7). He was human
and had to obey the law that says: “You hear prayer, all flesh will come to you”
(Ps.65:2). He himself said: “it is convenient for us to fulfill all justice” (Mt.3.15),
fulfilling this “he left us an example so that we follow in his footsteps” (1P.2:21).
93. WHO WAS GOD TALKING TO WHEN HE SAID: “LET US MAKE
MAN”?
There is no biblical evidence to affirm that God was speaking to the second or third
person of the trinity in the passage of GN.1:26, this is only in the imagination of
some interpreters of the Bible since “There are no gods with God” (Deut.32:39).
Only ONE made all things (Is.45:18; 44:24; Mal.2:10; Jn.1:3,10). Furthermore, in
verse 27 of Gen.1, the verb create is conjugated in the singular as the action of one:
“And God CREATED man in his image, in the Image of God he created him; Male
and female HE CREATED them.” God may have been speaking to the angels,
because the angels were present when God created all things (Job.38:4-9), although
they did not participate in the creation. He could also have been speaking with his
wisdom according to Pr.8:22-30.
94. HOW MANY BAPTISMS ARE THERE?
Eph.4:5 says that there is only “one baptism” valid for God.
95. WHO DO WE OBEY THE COMMANDMENT OF BAPTISM, TO JESUS
(MT.28:19) TO PETER (Acts.2:38)?
Both texts are in the Bible and were written by men inspired by God (2 Tim.3:16;
2P.1:21). Jesus himself told his disciples: “And you will also bear witness, because
you have been with me from the beginning” (Jn.15:27). He who obeys the words
written in the Bible, obeys God! (Jn.17:20; Mt10:40; Eph.2:20; Mt.16:19;
Rev.22:19-19). Peter was obeying Jesus because Mt.28:19 is the commandment
and Acts2:38 is the fulfillment.
96. IF I AM ALREADY BAPTIZED, WHY DO I HAVE TO BE BAPTIZED
AGAIN?
The apostle Paul rebaptized people who were not baptized in the name of Jesus,
because the baptism they had was not valid (Acts 19:1-6).
97. IS THERE ANY RECORD IN THE BIBLE THAT HE HAS BEEN
BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY
SPIRIT?
No. Mt.28:19; It is the only part where it is mentioned as the great commission of
Jesus, as the act of baptism itself; the way it was revealed to the apostles (Acts
2:38).
98. IS THE WORD TRINITY IN THE BIBLE?
No. This word only appears in the history of the 4th century AD as a doctrine of a
triune God formulated by the Catholic Igloiln .
99. DOES THE BIBLE SAY THAT THERE ARE THREE PERSONS IN THE
DIVINITY?
No.
100. DO THESE TITLES USED IN MATTHEW 28:19 MEAN THAT THERE
ARE THREE SEPARATE AND DISTINCT PEOPLE IN THE DIVINITY? No.
They refer to three different manifestations, offices, roles, or relationship of God
towards humanity. (1Ti.3:16, He.1:1; Jn.1:14).
101. IS JESUS THE TRUE GOD?
 Yes Romans.9:5, “of whom are the patriarchs, and from whom, according to
the flesh, came Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever, amen.”
 John.5:20 “But we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us
understanding to know him who is true; and we are in the true one, in his
son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.”
 (Titus 2:11-14)
 Like God, he was in heaven, (John 3:16)
 As a man he was on earth, (Mark 2:10)
 How God answers prayer (John 14:14)
 Like a man I pray (Luke 22:41)
 For in Christ dwells all the fullness of deity (Colossians 2:9)
102. DOES THE BIBLE USE THE WORD THREE TO REFER TO GOD?
Only one verse in the entire Bible does this, 1 Jn.5:7. He speaks of the father, the
word (instead of son), and the holy spirit, and concludes by saying, these three are
one. It should be noted that this verse is spurious, that is, it is not found in most
manuscripts. Some new versions of the Bible do not include it like P.pg the Bible
God Speaks Today.
103. DOES THE BIBLE USE THE WORD ONE TO REFER TO GOD?
Yes, many times. For example, see: Zech.14:9; Mal.2:10; Mt.23:9; Mr.12:29, 32;
Jn.8:41; 10:30; Rom.3:30; 1Co.8:4; Gal.3:20; 1Ti.2:5; Jas.2:19.
104. CAN THE MINISTRY OF DIVINITY BE UNDERSTOOD?
Yeah. Rom.1:20; Col.2:9; 1Ti.3:16.
105. DOES THE CHRISTIAN HAVE ONLY ONE HEAVENLY FATHER?
Yeah. Mal.2:10; Mt.23:9; Eph.4:6.
106. THEN WHY DID JESUS TELL PHILIP, “HE WHO HAS SEEN ME, HAS
SEEN THE FATHER” (JN.14:99)?
Because Jesus is the very expression of the image of God Heb.1:3. Jesus and the
father are the same, he is one (Jn.10:30; Is.9:6).
107. DOES THE BIBLE SAY WHAT THE FULLNESS OF DIVINITY
REVEALED IN A PERSON?
Yes, in Jesus Christ. 1Co.4:4; Col.1:19; 2:9; Heb.1:3.
108. IS THE MYSTERY OF THE DEITY HIDDEN FOR SOME PEOPLE?
Yeah. Luke.10:21-22; Matthew.11:25-27.
109. WHERE WAS GOD WHILE JESUS WAS ON EARTH?
The father was in Christ. Jn.14:10; 2Co.5:19; Rom.3:24-25. He was also in heaven,
because God is omnipresent.
110. DID THE PROPHET ISAIAH SAY THAT JESUS WOULD BE THE
FATHER?
Yes, Isaiah 9:6; 63:16.

112. HOW MANY QUALITIES OF GOD WERE IN CHRIST?
All. Col.2:9.
113. DOES THE BIBLE SAY THAT JESUS IS THE ALL POWERFUL?
Yes, amen. Rev.1:8.
114. DOES THE BIBLE SAY THAT THE FATHER IS THE FIRST PERSON OF
THE TRINITY, THE SON THE SECOND AND THE HOLY SPIRIT THE
THIRD?

115. HOW MANY PEOPLE DID JOHN SEE IN HEAVEN SITTING ON THE
THRONE?
A.Rev.4:2.
116. IF JESUS IS THE FIRST AND THE LAST, THEN WHY DID GOD SAY
IN IS.44:6WHAT HE WAS THE FIRST AND THE LAST?
Because Jesus is the God of the old testament, manifested in the flesh in the new
testament.
117. DID JESUS TELL SATAN THAT ONLY GOD SHOULD BE
WORSHIPED?
Yeah. Mt.4:10.
118. DOES THE DEVIL BELIEVE IN MORE THAN ONE GOD?
No. Jas.2:19.
119. DOES THE BIBLE SAY THAT GOD BECAME FLESH?
Yeah. Jn.1:1,14; 1Ti.3:16; Heb.2:14.
120. WITH WHAT INTENTION DID GOD MANIFEST HIMSELF IN THE
FLESH?
To save sinners and destroy the devil. Heb.2:9, 14.
121. COULD JESUS BE ON EARTH AND IN HEAVEN AT THE SAME TIME?
Yeah. Jn.3:13.
122. WILL GOD GIVE GLORY TO ANOTHER?

129. IS IT GOOD TO THINK ABOUT THE NAME OF THE LORD?
Yes.Mal.3:16.
130. DOES THE BIBLE SAY THAT ONLY GOD WALKS ON THE WAVES
OF THE SEA?
Yeah. Job.9:8.
131. THEN WHY WAS JESUS ABLE TO WALK ON THE SEA OF GALILEE
(Mt.14:25)?
Because he is the creator God: Col.1:16.
132. IS GOD THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN FORGIVE SIN?
Yeah. (Is.43:45), (Mr.2:7).
133. THEN WHY WAS JESUS ABLE TO FORGIVE SIN IN MARK 2:5-11?
Because he is the saving God (Jude 25).
134. IF GOD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT ARE TWO PERSONS, WHO WAS THE
FATHER OF CHRIST?
Matthew.1:20, says that the holy spirit was the father, while Ro.15:6, 1Co.11:31,
and EP.1:3 say that God was the father. There is no contradiction when we are
aware that God the father and the holy spirit are one and the same spirit, Mt.10:20,
Eph. 4:4, 1Co.3:16.
135. WHEN PAUL ASKED THE LORD WHO HE WAS, WHAT WAS THE

15:34, Acts 24:7, Acts 28:29. Rom.16:24. Compare some errors in Jn.1:1, 1Jn.5:7,
Ro.9:5.
199. DOES THE BIBLE TALK ABOUT NOT ADDING OR REMOVING FROM
THE HOLY SCRIPTURES?
Yeah. Dt.4:2, Dt:12-32, Pr.30:5, Eccl.3:14, Rev.22:18-19.
200. IS IT TRUE THAT THE SOUL IS NOT ETERNAL AND THUS DOES
NOT HAVE EXISTENCE AFTER DEATH?
No. The passages given below teach that the soul (sometimes called “spirit”) does
continue to exist after death, is different from the physical body and does not die,
1Thes.5:23, Mt.10: 28, Rev.1: 9, 14,15, Rev.6:9, 2P.1:13-15, 2Co.5:1-10,
Phil.1:21-24, 2Co.4:18, 1Co.15:50, 1Co. 5:5, 1Co.2:11, Ps.20:9, 10. Ec.12:7,
Lk.23:43, Lk.16:10-31, Lk.23:46, Lk.24:36-39, He.12:23, Mt.22:31-32, 1P. 4:6.
201. IS IT TRUE THAT GOD IS SO GOOD THAT HE WILL NOT PUNISH
THE SINNER FOR ETERNITY?
Ro.11:22, speaks of the “kindness” and “severity” of God (severity certainly for
those who fell), Rom. 1:18 and 2:8, of his “going and anger” Heb.12: 29, of God
being a consuming fire. Heb.10:30 speaks of God's vengeance. The following
scriptures speak of the eternal punishment of the sinner.
Mt.25:41, Mt.25:46, Mr.9:43,45, Mr.9:44,47. 2Thes.1:9, “they will suffer the
penalty of eternal destruction.” Rev.20:10. “And they will be tormented day and
night forever and ever.

202. DOES THE BIBLE TEACH THAT HELL IS THE SAME AS THE TOMB?
No. In Mark 9:42 48 Christ describes hell saying that there “the fire is never
quenched and their worm does not die.” In Matthew 13:49,50;22:18 and 25:30 the
Lord says that in the place of punishment there is “weeping and gnashing of teeth”
the body buried in the tomb does not cry and there is no gnashing of teeth there. .
The body in the grave decomposes. Does nothing. But the unrepentant soul, if
tormented, cries and screams. Weeping and gnashing of teeth are figurative phrases
that describe the sinner's severe punishment in hell. He is not the sum of sufferings,
pains, sadness, trials and tribulations that we endure in this life. Hell is not the
grave either if it is not a spiritual place where sinners go who die in their sins. Ecl.
9:4; Ap. 21:8; 20:10-15
203. IS IT TRUE THAT ONLY 144,000 WILL GO TO HEAVEN AND THE
GREAT MULTITUDE WILL BE ON EARTH?
The Bible gives no support to this strange doctrine of a division among the saved.
All the saved have only one hope.
Eph. 4:4 says that: “Called in one hope.” According to 2 Tim. 4:9 The crown “is
for all who love the coming of Christ”
204. WILL THERE BE A SECOND CHANCE FOR THE SINNER?
No. Jn.5:29 says that all sinners will be resurrected to condemnation and that this
will happen when Christ returns. The Bible does not promise unrepentant men any
other opportunity to be saved if they die in sin. After death comes judgment (Heb.
9:27), not a second chance, and after the judgment the sinners will go to the place
of eternal punishment. Matthew 25:46, This doctrine of a second chance, in
addition to being false, is pernicious since it deceives sinners with vain hopes.
205. IS IT TRUE THAT THE KINGDOM WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1914?
In many biblical passages the terms “Kingdom” and “church” are synonymous.
Matthew 16: 16-18. The church, that is, the kingdom, was established 50 days after
the resurrection of Christ and only 10 days after his ascension. Mark 9:1 teaches
that the kingdom would come “with power” (the power of the holy spirit) during
the time of the apostles. According to Acts. 2:1-4, “the power” came upon the
apostles on the day of Pentecost and the kingdom was established that same day in
the year 33 AD. C., 1881 years before 1914. The “heavenly kingdom” consisting
of all the saved of all ages, was prepared “from the foundation of the earth” Mt.
25:34, thousands of years before 1914.
206. IS IT TRUE THAT ONE OF THE PURPOSES OF THE KINGDOM IS TO
FIGHT AGAINST THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE EARTH?
Christ said, according to Jn. 18:36, “my kingdom is not of this world; If my
kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight so that I would not be handed
over to the Jews; But my kingdom is not from here” Paul says in 2 Cor. 10: 3,4
“For although we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh; for the
weapons of our warfare are not channels, but are powerful in God for the
destruction of strongholds.” The heavenly kingdom is a kingdom, it is a kingdom
of peace, not of warfare. Revenge belongs to the lord. (Heb.10:30), not of those
who are members of the kingdom.
207. DO WE HAVE TO OBEY THE GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES?
Yeah. The Bible commands us to respect and obey the governments that exist. Ro.
13: 1-6. Let every person submit to the higher authorities... so whoever opposes the
authority, resists what is established by God... which is why it is necessary to be
subject to him... because for this you also pay taxes. 1 Pet.2:13,14; Mt. 22:21. The
Christian must pray for the government: 1 Tim. 2:1, 2; Tit. 3:1.
