3 .- IMPORTANCE

The school nursery is an excellent resource for converting educational centers into places that enable mostly urban students to
have multiple experiences about their natural and rural environment, understand the relationships and dependencies we have with
it, and put
in practice attitudes and habits of environmental care and responsibility; interesting experiences for the development of
fundamental capabilities in Environmental Education.

Our school nursery is a new, living and changing environment; and offering positive values to promote, integrating and developing
capacities, attitudes, skills, techniques, etc. For the benefit and conservation of the environment and trying to promote more
responsible, critical, supportive, tolerant and nature-loving citizens.

This project is very important since through it, we want our institution to have a nursery of medicinal plants and we benefit from
them, also motivate and make the students and the community aware of the usefulness of plants.

This project aims to become a contribution to the educational community of our school, and to all those who may have access to
this material, regarding this trend of correct use of the healing power of nature. People who have access to this material will be
able to find the best-known herbs and plants of our region with their different medicinal uses and a brief botanical explanation of
each of them. Some practical experiences are also incorporated, compiled from people who have lived them, and who have
proven to be very effective at the time when we do not have a doctor who is required. In short, our Project that we are presenting
is a contribution to the knowledge of natural medicine and its possibilities in the field of prevention and health improvement.

6.- RESULTS

The favorable results of this project are very useful and important since the students will learn the uses of the medicinal plants
found in our environment and also because the institution will have a nursery of medicinal plants with which the student
community and the canton will benefit. Alausi.

With this research, students and the community will have the opportunity to learn, recognize everything about medicinal plants

and develop tea bags obtained from these plants .

Main expected results:

Short term: create a feeling of ownership among the children towards the school nursery, so that they take care of it and keep it

in good condition.

Medium term: beautification of the institution by using plants in a creative way.

Long term: that the plants be used for the preparation of food and medicine and the school population in general. Let the children

learn how to prepare some of these plants and be able to replicate them in the future to alleviate any discomfort.
