Advantages
– Wide range of indications owing to the type 4 classification
– Excellent milling properties thanks to a fine grain structure
– Excellent veneering properties with Ivoclar Vivadent veneering materials
such as IPS Style®
– Tested biocompatibility (high corrosion resistance)
– Coordinated compatibility with the Ivoclar Vivadent product system
Indications
Colado CAD CoCr4 is suitable for thin frameworks, which are exposed to very high
loads e.g. clasps, veneered crowns, large spanned bridges or bridges with thin
cross-sections, bars, fixtures, implant-supported superstructures according to
ISO 22674.

Biocompatibility Testing
Certificate
Cytotoxicity Cytotoxicity tests were conducted on cells of the mouse cell line L929
with extracts of Colado CAD CoCr4. The extracts did not reveal any
cytotoxic effect.
Skin irritation In-vitro test were conducted on human skin models with extracts of
Colado CAD CoCr4. The extract did not cause any skin irritations.
Genotoxicity The AMES reversion mutation test was conducted on bacterial cells
with extracts of Colado CAD CoCr4. The extracts did not show any
mutagenic effects.
Corrosion resistance Static immersion tests were conducted with Colado CAD CoCr4. The
cumulative substantial loss after 7 days was significantly lower than
the limit value of 200 µg/cm2 according to ISO 22674.
