2 Corinthians

1 What is the purpose of tribulations in our life?


 (1:4) It is so that we too can comfort those who are in any tribulation, through the consolation
with which we are comforted by God.

2 What did Paul think about his life during the tribulation referred to in chapter 1:9 and what
was his reaction?
 They thought they would die, since they had a death sentence, but that helped them trust in God
who resurrects the dead and not in themselves.

3 How did the Corinthians support Paul?


 (1:11) Praying

4What was Paul's behavior like?


 (1:12) with simplicity, sincerity with God, not with human wisdom, but with the grace of God.

5How was Paul confirmed by God?


 (1:21-22) Anointing him, sealing him and giving him the earnest of the Holy Spirit.

6What is the purpose for which we should forgive?


 (2:11) Lest satan gain any advantage over us; for we must not ignore their machinations.

7.- Mention the chapter and verse of Second Corinthians where it talks about sowing.
 1 Cor. 15:36-44

8 What does it mean in chapter 2:12 "a door was opened to me in the Lord?"
 That Paul had the opportunity to preach Christ in that place in Troas.

9.- In chapter 3 what does he refer to in verse 6 where he says that he made us "competent
ministers"
 It is related from the beginning of the chapter, where Paul spoke to them about how they did not
need to write letters recommending them, since their testimony had to be manifest to everyone,
they would no longer need the law but the power of the Spirit of God, because they They were
not competent on their own but God had prepared them to announce the new covenant.

10 What thing was to be abolished according to Chapter 3:13?


 The customs and traditions dictated in the Law, Christ came to remove the veil, through his
sacrifice, through his blood he gave us eternal life and freedom.

11What are the letters of recommendation that Paul “shows” to the people of Corinth to prove his
authority?

 (3: 2-3) Paul was referring to the testimony, the Corinthian church had witnessed the spiritual
authority of Paul, the miracles, prodigies, that God did through him; Therefore, Paul tells them
that he does not have to request a letter of recommendation, when his testimony was known and
read by everyone.

12What is the treasure referred to in verse 7 of chapter 4?


 The message of Salvation in Jesus Christ, which is invaluable and has been entrusted by God to
fragile and fallible men.

13.- In Chapter 5:10 it says “For it is necessary that we have compassion before the judgment seat
of Christ.” What do we mean by this? And what are we going to receive?
 Each of us will be judged by Christ, this judgment will reward us for the way we have lived.

14 What is he like who is in Christ?


 (2 Cor. 5:17) He is a new creature.

15 How did Paul recommend being a Minister of God?


 (2 Cor 6:4 -12) walk with great patience, in needs, in anguish, in scourgings, in prisons, in tumults, in
work, in sleeplessness, in fasting, in purity, knowledge, long-suffering, in goodness, in the Spirit Holy, in
sincere love, in the word of truth, in the power of God, with weapons of justice on the right hand and on
the left, for honor and for dishonor, for bad fame and for good fame; as deceivers, but truthful, as
unknown, but well known, as dying, but behold, we live; as punished, but not dead; as saddened, but
always joyful; as poor, but making many rich; as having nothing, but possessing everything.

the world?
 (2 Cor. 7:10) Godly sadness: produces repentance unto salvation
 Sadness of the world: it produces death

17.- Explain what Pablo means by not joining the Unequal Yugo?
 (2 Cor. 6:14) Paul was referring to not establishing ties with unbelievers, so that their dedication
to Christ would not be weakened, it did not mean isolating themselves as Paul had already
explained (1 Cor. 5: 9-10) but rather that they take care their faith by not committing to them
whether it is a personal or business bond.

18Explain 2 Corinthians 8:7


 In this chapter Paul exhorts about offerings, he also uses the word donation; But Paul exhorts the
Corinthian church to be generous, that this generosity be carried out out of love, which is why in
that verse he says: "And in your love for us", thus he mentions to them that as they abound in
knowledge, in faith so be it when meeting the needs of others, especially since it is mentioned
that Titus would take that offering to the church in Jerusalem.

19Why are the weapons of our warfare not carnal?


 (2 Cor. 10:4) Paul used military terms to refer to the war against sin and satan; God is the
commander and everyone who lives submitted to God fights subject to those spiritual weapons
that are powerful in God for the destruction of strongholds.

20And what will we announce in the places beyond you?


 (2 Cor. 11: 16) The gospel, but that is what Paul does mention “Without entering into another's
work to boast in what was already prepared.”

21What king was guarding the city of the Damascenes to arrest Paul?
 (2 Cor.11:32) King Aretas

22.- Mention some of the vituperations that Paul had to endure for preaching the true gospel.
 (2 Cor. 11:23-27) Scourged with rods, stoned, shipwrecked, prisons, hunger, thirst, nakedness,
dangers among false brothers, dangers from thieves, etc.

23 What are we to understand by the phrase "the signs of an apostle" in Chapter 12


 Paul was defending his authority as an apostle of Jesus Christ, he was hurt because the
Corinthian church doubted him and questioned him, so he mentions that signs, wonders and
miracles had manifested in the church.

24.-Why did you pray to God?


 (13:7) So that they would not do any bad thing, so that they would do good.

25 What was the customary fraternal greeting at that time?


 (2 Cor. 13:12) With a holy kiss
