ROBOTICS

INTRODUCTION

Robotics is a technology that demonstrates the advances in artificial intelligence that man
has been creating. It is a concept in the public domain; Most people have an idea of what
robotics is, know its applications and the potential it has.

Since the beginning of time, man has wanted to create artificial life. He has insisted on
giving life to artificial beings that accompany him in his daily life; These must perform their
repetitive tasks, tasks that are heavy or difficult for a human being to perform, and in
ancient times the most practical solution was to force someone to do the work .

The main objective of this work is to inform the general public a brief overview of robotics.
How this is completely changing man's life positively.

How does robotics make human life easier? The evolution of robotics has simplified and
even replaced the daily activities carried out by man.

Below we will develop a brief historical review of robotics, its applications aimed at
simplifying man's work such as in the fields of education, medicine, industry, exploration
and at home; There are many more, but we have taken the most notable ones. Where we
will observe the significant changes that the result of the insertion of robotics into our
habits of living as we enjoy today has brought to some aspects of man's daily life.

DEVELOPMENT

BRIEF HISTORY OF ROBOTICS

In the past, devices were created capable of performing daily and common tasks for men,
or to facilitate their daily tasks; They realized that there were repetitive tasks that could be
matched with a complex system, and this is how they began to create machines capable
of repeating the same tasks that man performed, and as an example of these machines
we can cite the following:

 The wheel as a means of transport or as a tool.

 The gear
 The catapult as a combat weapon.
 The mill, either to obtain water from the bowels of the earth, or as a grain grinder.
And thus a great variety of machines that were previously created to make tasks easier for
men. But not all of these devices had a purpose, some machines only served to entertain
their owners, and did nothing more than perform repetitive movements or make sounds. It
is worth mentioning that the Arabs were masters in the construction of these artifacts and
in the precision of their calculations, and as an example of this, it can be mentioned that
they invented the mechanical clock, as well as their great contributions to astrology. Greek
engineers also contributed great knowledge, although their interest was more towards
human knowledge than towards practical applications.

Currently, robotics is responsible for designing, building and testing robots capable of
performing everything from the simplest tasks to complex operations in which a human
would be unable to work properly. The appearance of increasingly complete sensors and
the proliferation of platforms on which it is easy to program, makes robotics something
that increasingly has more followers in the world, with enormous communities dedicated
to the dissemination of content for lovers of the robotic.
IMPORTANCE OF ROBOTICS FOR MAN

The importance of robotics for humans is that as it advances, it makes the arduous work
of daily life easier and teaches us new things. As we will see below, robotics is so closely
linked to us that it helps us evolve by leaps and bounds towards a better world.

1. IN THE ENCENSION.
In recent years, many researchers from various countries have created a new
discipline, pedagogical robotics, with the aim of exploiting learners' desire to
interact with a robot to promote logical and cognitive processes. The following
definition of pedagogical robotics is proposed: It is the activity of conception,
creation and implementation, for pedagogical purposes, of technological objects
that are very faithful and significant reduced reproductions of the robotic processes
and tools that are used daily, above all, in the industrial environment.
Given the previous definition, we must recognize that the first activity within
pedagogical robotics is to study the process of conceiving, designing and building
robotic mechanisms.
The second function that must be carried out in this area is to verify that these
mechanisms effectively meet the pedagogical purposes, this involves research in
the disciplines of knowledge, education and learning, areas that also concern the
Social Sciences and in particular to Psychology .
Researchers and students can learn a lot from the construction of robotic
mechanisms and these are also put to work to support the teaching of concepts
from many other disciplines, this is the scope of pedagogical robotics.
From the above we conclude that robotics applied to education serves to develop
various capacities of learners, which must be enhanced little by little based on the
scope of robotics.

2. IN MEDICINE.
Robotics is very useful in medicine; Because it is programmable and has exact
precision, it allows the specialist to better access risk areas or areas where no
error can be generated. This technology , in addition to offering an improved
intervention, helps the patient to recover more quickly, does not damage the
healthy tissues that are close to the operation area and eliminates what is known
as human tremors at the time of surgery. Not only is it present at the time of
operation, but robotics also favors a patient with prosthesis alternatives or
medication delivery; The latter is necessary more than anything in patients who do
not have reactions; that is, those people who are in critical situations.
Thanks to its presence in medicine, many people have the possibility of leading a
normal life, which is what all of us long for in this world.

3. IN THE INDUSTRY.

Robotics is projected through robots which:

 They perform hard, dangerous tasks that require high precision and
repeatability.
 They don't get bored so the work is repetitive and unrewarding.
 They can work overtime without pay, without stopping and bring more
benefits with a lower cost invested by the company.
 They can make products over and over again without stopping and they do
exactly the same thing.
 You don't have to negotiate with them for salary increases.
 Higher production per hour with consistent quality.

As we see, the advantages that robotics brings to the industry are diverse: more
productivity, higher quality of the process, products in better condition, lower risks
for workers to carry out different daily activities.
4. IN THE EXPLORATION.
The robots necessary to explore planetary surfaces are being developed: potential
landing sites, areas of scientific interest and collecting samples for analysis. These
robots require high levels of autonomy, including the ability to perform local
navigation, identifying areas of potential scientific interest, regulating onboard
resources, and developing exploration activities in conjunction with ground control.
These robots must be low cost and highly miniaturized.

5. IN THE HOME.
The oldest application is in the home. Household appliances, as we know them
today, are part of the world of robotics, and although it may seem incredible, these
are domestic robots; with whom we interact every day and are the ones we know
the most here in Peru, since the field of robotics is still very poor.
In Applications of Robotics we can find many more but for reasons of time we have
chosen the ones that stand out the most.
CONCLUSIONS

As has been mentioned, robotics is a great scientific and technological advance,

which has greatly simplified human activities; generating comfort and a better
quality of life in the different activities we do daily.

Thus we mention some fields where robotics is very important because it has
reduced human effort to a minimum standard; In education, the aim is to help the
development of different basic skills and delve into issues of socialization, initiative,
creativity and leadership of students. In medicine, ensuring people's health through
the use of specialized machines. In industry, increase and improve productivity
with more profitable costs. In exploration, access to know our universe and verify
the existence of extraterrestrial life, which has been an ambition of man for many
years. At home, minimize efforts in carrying out daily tasks that are often very
heavy. And so many other aspects where robotics has guided us to perfection and
evolution.
In this document the study of art is carried out about the role that robotics plays in the life of man
. Thanks to bionics, one of the branches of robotics, it is possible to replace human limbs with
artifacts other than natural ones, becoming a very helpful tool for people with certain disabilities.
With the passage of time , the field of robotics applied to humans (bionics) has provided humans
with complementary limbs, which become increasingly more efficient. The study of this science
covers a very broad field, which is why this document focuses on the p
