The morning routine paragraph showed us several things that the writer does in the

morning. It was easy to understand for the sentences were joined together using

certain words that connected two ideas …………. phrases, …………. it puts the

ideas in sequence. But even if these sentences were to be switched around, they

would still be connected using these words. Sometimes, these words help show

contrasting ideas, yet they always seem to be in sequence. These connecting words

Beavers are amazing creatures. Not only are they skilled
swimmers and resourceful foragers, but they are also
incredible builders. They use their strong teeth to gnaw
down trees either for food or to use the branches in their
elaborate dam constructions. These dams are not just
random piles of wood; they are meticulously crafted
structures that control water flow and create deep ponds
perfect for beaver homes. Neither rain nor heavy snow can
easily breach a well-maintained beaver dam. The lodges
they build within these ponds are equally impressive. Made
of interwoven branches and plastered with mud, these cozy
shelters provide warmth and protection for the entire
beaver family. Both adult beavers and their kits contribute
to the construction and maintenance of their dams and
lodges, making them a truly cooperative species.
