Description 1. INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this method statement is to demonstrate the methods and procedures to
be followed to carry out the construction of inspection of installed screw piles on the
project in a safe manner, in accordance with approved and controlled methods, to
demonstrate thorough and thoughtful understanding and approach, all of which are in
compliance with applicable standard, codes of practice and program specifications.
Site Engineer (1) – is responsible for the execution of the works detailed in this method statement. Moreover, this
role will be responsible for instructing the foreman/superintendent about requirements of the contract, including all
restrictions, safety regulations, scope of work, and time schedule. Additionally, related materials delivery, equipment
needed and all matters related to HSE and the quality of the works will be under the responsibility of the site engineer.
Safety Officer (1) – is responsible in assisting the construction team in developing safe methods of working and
monitoring the implementation of the controls as required. This role also ensures the compliance of all control measures
at site as per approved risk assessment plan and checklist as per HSE Plan. Moreover, this role also ensures that permits
are submitted and checked prior to conducting the activities specified in this method statement.

1. Enclose the construction work area with safety warning tapes and set up safety warning signs outside the
construction work area;
2. Plan to configure safety protective equipment:
2.1 Long-sleeved T-shirt;

2.5 Safety goggles;
2.6 canvas gloves;
2.7 Dust mask;

1: The acceptance after pile installation is a simple process, with no safety risk.
2: Keep walkways, paths, and walk areas clear of clutter. Mark wet areas or stripping-prone areas.

material storage/ and protruding screw file.
8: Ensure Workers wear personal protective equipment such as hard hats, working uniforms, safety goggles,
high visibility vests, and safety shoes/boots.
