Package Contents
Please inspect your package. The following items should be included:

1 – IG 4200 hardware
1 – IG 4200 faceplate
1 - Power cord
1 - Rack mount kit
1 – IG 4200 Quick Start Guide

Hardware
Back Panel:

1. LAN Port – Connects to the downstream devices.

2. WAN Port – Connects to the Internet.

3. Serial Port – RS232 serial connection to PMS interfaces. Also allows access
to the recovery functions on the boot loader's menu during boot up.

4. OPT1– HA: Connects two IG 4200 gateways in a High Availability (HA)


setup. Management Port: allows the gateway to link up to an internal
network.

5. OPT2 - Used to provide another WAN link (WAN 2) to the IG 4200 for link
redundancy and load balancing.

Front Panel:

1. Power button – Located on the left of the front panel, behind the
faceplate. Press to power up.

2. VGA Port –Connects to a monitor for troubleshooting.

3. USB Ports (2) – Connects a keyboard or thumb drive to the IG 4200.


USB ports can be used to access the serial console of the IG 4200 after
boot up.

4. Service Tag - Displays the IG 4200 hardware serial number.

Faceplate:

Installation and Connection

1. Connect the power adapter to the power connector on the back panel
and power up.

2. Connect a straight Ethernet cable from IG 4200’s LAN port to your


laptop’s Ethernet port.

3. Configure your laptop to use DHCP.

You are now ready to proceed to configure the gateway from the downstream
laptop.
Deploy IG 4200 in your network following the simple network diagram below:

Configuration
1. Surf to “https://ezxcess.antlabs.com/admin/”. The EULA will be
shown. Read the EULA carefully and click “I Agree” if you agree with it.

2. After agreeing to the EULA, you will be directed to the Admin GUI login
page. Login using these credentials:
 User ID: root
 Password: admin
You will be prompted to change the default password.

3. Click on WAN under Network.


Click on the existing WAN
record.

4. Configure the WAN settings then click to save your settings.

5. Click on the DNS menu, under


WAN and then click on one of the
existing DNS Server record.

6. Fill in the DNS Server’s IP address then click the button to save the
configuration.

Modify the other DNS server IP address if necessary.

7. Click on System, under Maintenance. And then, Click on the
button to restart the system.

After the reboot, IG 4200 will be connected to the Internet.

Licensing
Online licensing is the recommended way to activate IG 4200's license. Make
sure IG 4200 has Internet connection and do the following:

1. Login to Admin GUI. You shall find a yellow warning box shown on the
dashboard page:

2. Click the link to be directed to the License page.

3. Click to automatically activate the IG 4200 license.

If online licensing does not work, you may activate the license manually. Please
contact ANTlabs support for assistance (for contact details, refer to page 7).

Module Activation

You can activate modules from the Admin GUI


at System > License > Module Activation.
Click “Update Module License” to install all
new modules available for your gateway.

Updates
It is recommended to download and install the latest updates available for your
gateway before using it. Administrators can use the online update feature for
this. Make sure the gateway is connected to Internet before using this feature.

Here are the steps to update your gateway:

1. Login to the Admin GUI. Go to System >


Update.

2. Click on the “Check for Updates” button.

3. If there are new updates available, they will be listed on the page. Click
on “Download All” to download all updates from the server.

4. After all updates are downloaded, click on the “Install Next Update”
button to install the next update.

- Hardware serial number*
- Software serial number
- IP address

- Description of the problem (Attach a screenshot of the reported error if any)

*The IG 4200’s hardware serial number can be found on the service tag at the
front of the gateway or you can get the information from the admin GUI of the
product which displays both hardware and software serial number.
