Event: Beach Cleaning

Location: Dadar Beach

On January 21, 2023, our team of volunteers assembled at Dadar Chowpatty Beach in
Mumbai for a dedicated beach cleaning drive. With gloves on and garbage bags in
hand, we meticulously combed the shore, picking up plastic bottles, wrappers, and
various other types of debris. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from local
residents and environmental groups alike, creating a sense of community and shared
responsibility. Throughout the day, we managed to collect several hundred kilograms
of waste, highlighting the significant impact of our collective efforts. By the end of the
clean-up, Dadar Chowpatty Beach was noticeably cleaner and more inviting, a
testament to what can be achieved when people come together for a common cause.
This initiative not only helped in preserving the natural beauty of Mumbai's coastline
but also raised awareness about the importance of keeping our beaches clean for future
generations.
