Teacher Instructions

Dear Teachers,
I hope you enjoy this FRY words checklist and are easily able to implement
it in your classroom. I left 3 boxes at the top for those of you who are on the
trimester schedule. If you’re on the semester schedule you can cross a box off if
you’d like.
I align the words to the right to leave plenty of room for you to make any
anecdotal notes or marks next to the word. I often put the date that they master
that word after the initial assessment.
Another suggestion is to write the assessment date at the top and choose
a highlighter color to highlight the missed words with. That way you can see
which words they missed at each assessment but also how much they have
learned! Use a different color highlighter for each assessment period.

Need ideas for what’s next? Check out my FRY Words KABOOM games and
resources.
