MANAGEMENT
A process of planning, decision-making, organizing,
leading, motivation and controlling the human
resources, financial, physical, and information
resources of an organization to reach its goals
efficiently and effectively.

The skillful use and coordination of all the business'


resources—money, facilities, equipment,
technologies, materials, employees— in a systematic
and effective way to achieve particular goals.

PLANNING
The process of choosing appropriate goals and actions to
pursue and then determining what strategies to use, what
actions to take, and deciding what resources are needed
to achieve the goals. Basically, this function revolves
around chalking out a future course of action and
deciding in advance the most appropriate course of
actions for achievement of pre-determined goals.

A Plan is the systematic process for achieving a specific


goal. In the business world, a Business Plan is prepared,
which includes the company's strategy in achieving their
key goals, their mission and vision, and their resources.
This guides the business to their success and to attract
possible investments from investors or financial
institutions.
THREE TYPES
OF PLANS:
This lays out a broad course of action to

5 years. This plan is typically created by
