I. PROJECT TITLE: SOCIO-CULTURAL ACTIVITY / SITIO LIANG ANNUAL FIESTA ‘2024
“LARONG LAHI" (Traditional Filipino Games) ‘2024”
II. RATIONALE: This activity is planned to make possible the needs of the barangay in
celebrating the annual fiesta and contributing to the barangay’s vibrant event in
the 9th short celebration of its cultural heritage through participating in stage
event “ LARONG LAHI" (Traditional Filipino Games) ‘2019 ” by the local
government of Barangay Bingay as well as different activities
such as the celebration of the Annual Fiesta, in Honor of our Patron
Saint Sr. San Isidro Labrador.
III. SYNOPSIS: “LARONG LAHI" (Traditional Filipino Games)”
Because of the modernization and digital world, our children did not know our traditional games. The
barangay encourages to introduce them the Laro ng Lahi. We call it Laro ng Lahi or the Traditional Filipino
Games.These games are commonly played by children, usually using native materials or instruments. Due to
limited resources of toys of Filipino Children, they usually come up with games without the need of anything but
the players themselves.
IV. OBJECTIVE:
1) To develop and promote interest in Laro Ng Lahi.
2) To encourage our children to play our traditional games.
V. PARTICIPANTS: 7 CONTESTANTS EACH TRADITIONAL GAMES AND 7 CONTESTANTS FOR THE
SUGBUANONG MUSIKERO
