GPP3O – Leadership & Peer Support - Final Culminating Activity 30%

Overview

A healthy lifestyle impacts every part of your day-to-day work environment. Wellness Programs translate into fewer
absences from school and/or work, a focused mind ready to take and complete tasks, resiliency, heightened overall
productivity and a more harmonious outlook on life. Wellness programs promote general health and well-being and are
increasingly implemented into more and more school and workplace environments. An effective Wellness Program helps
to reduce stress and increase mindfulness, contributing to a more fulfilling life experience.

Objectives & Learning Goals

❑ Lead, plan, prioritize and organize an activity that everyone in the room will benefit from
❑ Identify and explain which type of leadership is necessary to deliver this activity
❑ Demonstrate the effective use of information and communication technology (e.g. software)
❑ Audience involvement from the start to the end

Instructions and Requirements

STEP ONE. Lesson Plan. You will plan a 20-minute wellness activity (includes set-up/takedown) for the class to
participate in. You will be required to execute a classroom activity that requires you to successfully lead your classmates
in a stress relieving exercise. There are many ideas to choose from! There is no budget for this assignment, so if you wish
to purchase small items, you are on your own. You must consult with your teacher to confirm that your idea will be
awesome before going on to Step 2. Workshop themes are on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be no duplicate
themes permitted. ****Note: this presentation should demonstrate leading/teaching.

STEP TWO. Digital Presentation. Create a 7-slide presentation deck (includes one slide for each - title, overview, 4
topics from below, and conclusion) which outlines and explains your decisions/insights regarding the following make a

demonstrate your learning):
