Data Communication and Computer Networks Lab

Prerequisites: Introduction to Information and Communication Technology

Objectives:
Presently, is the era of very powerful personal computing devices, interconnecting with
each other and even better equipped servers, connecting us across continental boundaries.
Even Telecommunication Equipment is using IP backbone for providing services to its
subscribers. Keeping this in mind, the lab manual for Data communication and computer
networks is designed to augment the classroom teaching of the course so as to provide
student the necessary practical know-how in the subject.

Learning Outcomes:

Mapping of CLOs and PLOs

CLO’s Course Learning Outcomes PLOs Blooms
Taxonomy
1 Build various network configurations 3 P2
and implement IP layer addressing and protocols.
