Common Driver Tasks

Print job settings

Access the printer From a job that is open in your software application, on the File menu, click Print, and then click
driver Properties.

Choose multiple copies Select the number of copies from within your application, or from the printer driver, click the
Basics tab, and then in the Copies box, type or select the number of copies.

Print in grayscale From the printer driver, click the Color tab, and then select Print In Grayscale.

Print all text as black From the printer driver, click the Finishing tab, under Print Quality, and then select Print all Text
as Black.

Scale to fit on a From the printer driver, click the Effects tab, select Print Document On, and then select a paper
different size paper size. Be sure to select Scale to Fit to scale your document to the new paper size.

Reduce or enlarge a From the printer driver, click the Effects tab, and in the % of Normal Size box, enter a percentage
document to reduce or enlarge your document.

Print a watermark From the printer driver, click the Effects tab, and then under Watermarks, select a watermark or
click Edit to create your own. If you want a watermark on just the first page, click First Page Only.

Print a booklet (print From the printer driver, click the Finishing tab. Under Document Options, click Print on Both

Reset all options From any tab, under Quick Sets, select Defaults to return to the default settings.
