online. Many kids report such treatment having occurred more than once. Cyberbullying is
affecting all ages, as even young children often have access to technology and the internet.

Children of all ages need to understand that the internet is not a “safe” place, and that is a
public forum. Even if you delete a massage or photo, it continues to exist in cyberspace.
Also, many teens mistakenly think they will not “get caught” if they bully someone online,
or that such behavior is not that big a deal.

All parent needs to discuss internet safety and the problem of cyberbullying with their
children. This is especially important for tweens and teens, as they spend much of their time
online. Just as kids must learn and practice good manners in public, they also need to mind
their manners online. If a child would not say something to another young person’s face,
then the same dig should not be emailed or texted. It is as simple as that.

This is what I call the “front door rule”. Tell your child that if she/he writes an email or text,
or post something derogatory about another person on Facebook, twitter, Instagram (or
other sites, to thin before they push “send”. If they would not want to post the information
on their front door for family members and all the neighbors to see, they should stop think
and change or forget about the massage. It could hurt someone more than they realize and

There are two types of fiber : soluble and insoluble. Soluble fiber dissolves during digestion
and creates a gel-like substance that protects the entire digestive tract from absorbing

regular waste elimination. When waste is expelled from the body regularly, the time that

Their capabilities do have limits, though. Contrary to popular belief, they almost never take
down large animals or people.

One of the best places to observe army ants is Barro Colorado, an island in a lake created by
the Panama Canal. The island is home to as many as 50 colonies of Eciton Burchellii, the
 most studied army ant in the world. It is one of 150 types of army ants in the New World.
More than 170 other types live in Asia, Africa, and Australia.

The colonies of this army ant are huge, ranging from 300,000 to 700,000 ants. They never
stay in one place long, moving from nest site to nest sit. Lingking legs together, they use
their own bodies to from enormous nests called bivouacs, which they hang beneath a fallen
tree. There they stay for about 20 days as the queen lays as many as 300,000 eggs.

When the ants go hunting, as many as 200,000 of them leave the nest in a group that
broadens into a fan as wide as 14 maters. This swarm raid takes a slightly different course
each day, allowing the hunters to covers fresh ground each time.

Protecting the ants wherever they go are the soldiers, recognizable by their overside jaws. If
their frightening look don’t scare enemies away, soldier also have a powerful bite and attack

environment. The change from single crop farming to a mixed crop system would be one
important step. The planting of several different crops improves the soil and helps prevent
erosion. Erosion could also be prevented by planting trees to protect the fields from the
wind. Another way farmers could improve the soil is to avoid deep plowing. In fact, only a
slight plowing is necessary if proper methods are used.

Farmers could also help save the earth’s precious supplies of water and petroleum. To save

farmers could make use of biogas generators which could be fueled by the vegetable and

percent or less chicken muscle tissue, not the breast or thigh meat that comes to mind when

three researchers selected one nugget from each box, preserved, dissected and stained the

“We all know white chicken meat to be one of the best sources of lean protein available and
encourage our patients to eat it,” says Dr. Richard deShazo of the University of Mississippi
Medical Centre. “What happened is that some companies have chosen to use an artificial
mixture of chicken parts rather than low -fat chicken white meat, better it up and fry it and
still call it chicken,” he adds. It is really a chicken by -product high in calories, salt, sugar,
and fat that is a very unhealthy choice. Even worse, it taste great and kids love it and its
marketed to them.

The nuggets he examined would be okay to eat occasionally, but he worries that since they
are cheap, convenient and tasty, kids eat them often. His own grandchildren “beg” for
chicken nuggets all the time, and he compromises by making them at home by pan-frying
chicken breasts with a small amount of oil, says deShazo.

“Chicken nuggets are an excellent source of protein, especially for kids who might be picky
eaters.” Says Ashley Peterson, vice president of scientific and regulatory affairs for the
National Chicken Council (NCC), a non profit trade group representing the US chicken
industry. “This study evaluates only two chicken nugget sample out of the billion of chicken

Soal Photosynthesis is the process of converting solar energy to chemical energy and storing it

need only solar energy, CO2 and H20 to make sugar. The process of photosynthesis takes in
the chloroplasts, specifically using chlorophyll, the green pigment involved in
photosynthesis.

Photosynthesis takes place primarily in plant leaves, and little to none occurs in stern, etc.
The part of typical leaf include the upper and lower epidermis , the mesophyll, the vascular
bundle(s) (venis), and the stomates. The upper and lower epidermal cells do not have
chloropalsts, thus photosynthesis does not occurs there. They serve primarily as protection
for the rest of the leaf. He stomates are holes which occur primarily in the lower epidermis
and are for air exchange : they let CO2 in and O2 out. The vascular bundles or veins in a
leaf are part of the plant’s transportation system, moving water and nutrient around the plant
as needed. The mesophyll cells have chloroplasts and this is where photosynthesis occurs.

As you hopefully recall, the parts of chloroplast include the outer and inner membranes,
intermembrane space, stroma, and thylakoids stacked in grana. The chlorophyll is built into
the membrane of the thylakoids.

Chlorophyll looks green because it absorbs the red and blue light, making these colors
unavailable to be seen by your eyes. It is the green light which is not absorbed that finally
reaches our eyes, making chlorophyll appear green. However, it is the energy from the red
and blue light that are absorbed that is, thereby, able to be used to do photosynthesis. The
green light we can see is not/cannot be absorbed by the plan, and thus cannot be used to do
photosynthesis.

Every year, more people face poverty and hunger and more of the earth’s resources are
ruined. The problems are enormous, but many experts believe that the situation is not
hopeless. The solution will require big changes in how we think about agriculture, food, and
our planet.

First of all, farmers everywhere need to develop methods that are less destructive to the
environment. The change from single crop farming to a mixed crop system would be one
important step. The planting of several different crops improves the soil and helps prevent
erosion. Erosion could also be prevented by planting trees to protect the fields from the
wind. Another way farmers could improve the soil is to avoid deep plowing. In fact, only a
slight plowing is necessary if proper methods are used.
 Farmers could also help save the earth’s precious supplies of water and petroleum. To save

corn. They could also use watering systems that are much less wasteful. To save petroleum,
farmers could make use of biogas generators which could be fueled by the vegetable and
animal wastes of the farms. In less-developed countries, biogas generators could reduce the
