Congratulations to all the students who have successfully passed the Intermediate Public
Examination, 2024. Degree is the next step in your academic pursuit. We welcome you to the
online platform, DOST (Degree Online Services, Telangana) for the academic year 2024-25.
DOST facilitates you to join in UG courses like (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BCA, BBM,
BSW & D-Pharmacy etc.).

DOST offers single window (DOST website https://dost.cgg.gov.in) for seeking admission
into any of the Undergraduate Programmes in any of the State Universities (Osmania,
Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamuru, Mahatma Gandhi, Sathavahana, and Mahila Vishwa
Vidyalayam, JNTU and TSBTET). The process of admission is simple. It is student friendly
and one can do it by himself/herself. Candidate must register by visiting the website and
logging in by the Intermediate Hall-ticket number.

One must follow the following steps:

 DOST-2024 Admission Process for the students

Step-I Registration/DOST ID Generation
Method-I: If a student has already linked Aadhaar number with the mobile number,
he/she can directly register on DOST Website with mobile OTP authentication.
 In case, his/her Aadhaar number is not seeded with mobile number, the student shall
link his/her or his/her parent’s mobile number with the student’s Aadhaar at Aadhaar
Update Centres.

Method-II: The TSBIE students can register through DOST Mobile App, featured
new on DOST Website. It is based on photo recognition. Once the photo of the
student is scanned and accepted, DOST ID will be generated. The students can, later,
go for the next step in admissions. The following steps are to be followed.
o The student has to download DOST Mobile App from DOST Website on
their smart phones.
o Then register his mobile number.
o He gets an OTP.
o He has to enter OTP and submit.
o Then, DOST authentication services will be enabled on dashboard.
o The student, now, has to enter his particulars like name, date of birth, mobile
number, Aadhaar number etc.
o As he proceeds further, face recognition service is opened.
o As he navigates with his live photo, and when it matches with his face, DOST
ID is generated.
o The student may proceed with payment of registration fee and filling in the
application.

Method-III: The student may visit MeeSeva Centre for Biometric Authentication
(Finger print/Iris/Face Authentication) and registration on DOST.

Method-IV: The TSBIE students can register in DOST through T-App Folio
Mobile App based on photo authentication.
o The students may install Mobile based T-App Folio which contains DOST ID
generation service.
o Students shall enter Hall ticket number of TSBIE, Date of Birth, Aadhaar
number and Mobile number.
o On verification of Hall Ticket, Date of Birth, uniqueness of Aadhaar and
uniqueness of Mobile, the details of the data (Candidate’s Name, Father’s
Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, and Candidate’s Photograph) would be
referred to T-App Folio application.
o On successful authentication of live photograph (selfie) with the photograph
available in TSBIE service, DOST Reference ID is generated.
o Students get DOST Reference ID over SMS and on App.
o By using reference ID the student can generate DOST ID on the DOST
Website and the students can go for further process of registration and exercise

 Registration on DOST is by paying registration fee of Rs. 200/-

o After the registration students will get DOST ID and PIN. The students are
advised to keep their DOST ID and PIN carefully and confidentially till
the end of the admission process.
 o The students shall log in using DOST ID and PIN/password to open the
Application Form.
o They must fill in the application form with all the correct details that are
required (once the data is submitted it cannot be edited).
o Then, they must exercise web options by choosing the course and college of
their preference by giving the priority numbers. (One must be careful while
giving college and course priorities as the seats will be allotted according to
the priorities specified in the options.)
o The students are advised not to share DOST ID/PIN/Password with
anybody as they have to keep their options confidential.
o Seat allotment will be given to the students who exercise web options.
o Seats will be allotted based on the merit and reservations in force.
o If the students are satisfied with the seat allotted, they must confirm the seat
by online self-reporting and pay the required confirmation fee online as per the
payment mentioned below.
o The students who confirm their seat (in any phase) by online self-reporting
must visit the allotted college in person from 29.06.2024 to 05.07.2024 and
submit the required certificates and pay fee, it is only then that their seat
is confirmed.
o If the student is not satisfied with the seat secured, he can pay fee (online
payment) for the reservation of the seat and then, go for web options once
again in the second and third phases for betterment.
 Seat Reservation Process and Fee Reimbursement
o Entering of MeeSeva Caste/EWS Certificate Number (with CND number and
sub-caste), issued by Government of Telangana is mandatory for seat
allotment under reservation.
o Income Certificate taken on or after 01.04.2023 (valid only for DOST
Admissions 2024-25).
o N.C.C. Certificate, Extra Curricular Activities Certificate, Physically
Challenged Certificate; CAP (Children of Armed Personnel) Certificate should
be uploaded.
 Payment Process
o The students shall pay DOST registration fee and seat reservation fee through
online payment gateways.
o The students who are allotted to Government/University Colleges and are
eligible for ePass fee reimbursement need not pay any amount for online self-
reporting.
o The students who are allotted to Private Colleges and are eligible for ePass fee
reimbursement need to pay an amount of Rs.500/- for online self-reporting.
o The students who are allotted to Government/University Colleges/Private
Colleges and are not eligible for ePass reimbursement of college fee, need to
pay an amount of Rs.1000/- for online self-reporting.

 Help Line Centres

Help Line Centres will help the students to register on DOST, rectify any mismatch
with Aadhaar details; rectify any wrong uploading of Certificates.
 o In total, 40 Help Line Centres are established.
o State HLC – 1
o University HLCs – 6
o District HLCs –33

 Features in DOST-2024

Additional services for the students are planned to ease their difficulties in choosing
the colleges and courses.

o There are certain colleges and courses that are listed on DOST Website. The
students may choose their college and course to suit their future careers. With
a click of mouse the combination of subjects which he/she has to choose will
be listed.
o Facial authentication on DOST Mobile App is newly introduced for DOST
registration/ID generation (This is applicable only to the students of TSBIE.)
o To avoid human touch, Real-time Digital Face Recognition of TApp Folio is
continued. (This service is applicable only for the students who passed out
from Telangana BIE).
o Online system to resolve the grievances and issues of candidates, if any is
available on DOST Website.
o WhatsApp Chatbot (Auto Responder) integration with DOST.

 Open WhatsApp and send ‘Hi’ to the above contact.
 You will get our DOST-2024 Menu and you can select any.
 The same account will be used to send Template Messages on request
(i.e. OTPs, Alerts, Campaigning etc.,).

Notification for Admissions into Undergraduate Courses (UG) in Telangana State

Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) 2024-25
Online applications are invited for registration and admissions into all Undergraduate Courses, such as
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.Com.(Voc)/ B.Com.(Hons)/BSW/BBA/BBM/BCA etc., offered by all the Colleges affiliated to Osmania
University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University, Satavahana
University, Telangana Mahila Vishwa Vidyalayam (Women’s University), JNTU respectively and D-Pharmacy in
Polytechnics affiliated to TSBTET for the Academic Year 2024-2025.

The candidates who have passed Intermediate Examination of Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State or any
equivalent recognized examination from other Boards/states are eligible to apply.
One-time registration fee for all the colleges/courses of one or more Universities is Rs.200/- (two hundred only), which can be
paid through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/T Wallet,/UPI, BillDesk and Atom technologies (NTT Data). For further
