FB16-22
Date April 2017

BULLETIN
Field Product Type Ironers
Purpose New Service Procedure
Interchangeable Yes
Subject Error 7, Code 24 on Ironers

Use this troubleshooting procedure to resolve the issue causing Error 7, Code 24 on the ironers
listed below. This error is caused by electromagnetic noise disrupting communication between the
control board and the inverter. Follow the procedure described in this bulletin to resolve the issue.

WARNING
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, serious injury or death:
• Disconnect electric power to the machine before servicing.
• Never start the machine with any guards/panels removed.
• Whenever ground wires are removed during servicing, these ground wires
must be reconnected to ensure that the machine is properly grounded.
W261

This bulletin is valid for ironers with roll 32 cm (13 in.) diameter (13 in.) and 50 cm (20 in.)
equipped with the control shown in Figure 1 and manufactured through the serial numbers listed in
Table 1.
NOTE: This bulletin does not apply to ironers with roll 50 cm (20 in.) diameter (20 in.)
equipped with rear return and/or folder or on ironers with roll diameter 80 cm (32 in.).
