PBGEN FRANCO P. SIMBORIO
REGIONAL DIRECTOR
PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE
REGION 9 – ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA
SUBJECT: REQUEST TO CONDUCT MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS THROUGH MIND EDUCATION
Dear PBGEN Simborio:
Warm greetings from IYF!
The International Youth Fellowship (IYF) is a global non-profit youth organization with a mission to develop
leaders of the next generation who possess humility and strong leadership. The IYF is actively working with
national governments in more than 95 countries including South Korea, Vietnam, USA, Paraguay, Peru,
and Kenya, to name a few. In the Philippines, the IYF together with the International Mind Education
Institute (IMEI) has been implementing the Mind Education Program for the past nine (9) years in
cooperation with the Department of Education, Philippine National Police, other government agencies,
and local government units.
The IMEI is defining a new approach to building leaders. IMEI helps people transcend their limitations and
standards so they can establish sound character formation and a strong foundation for leadership. Its core
program Mind Education enhances spiritual and mental growth, expands global awareness and
intercultural tolerance and develops critical thinking and leadership skills.
This time, IYF hope to share this Mind Education for PNP, AFP and PCG of Region 9 – Zamboanga Peninsula
to bring out and enhance the greater potential of the people especially to the officials and staffs to ignite
change and positively influence the students and youth. In line with this, we are requesting your good
office to allow us to conduct Mental Health Awareness through Mind Education in PNP Region 9 –
Zamboanga Peninsula at any date and time of your availability within February or March of this year.
We believe that with the collaboration of your organization, efforts can be made to facilitate
opportunities to provide essential and diverse services through programs and activities that will educate,
enlighten, and give hope and happiness to the general public.
For more information or queries, please contact Program Coordinator – Jay-Ar Fajardo through this
contact number 0915 495 47 49. We will also directly communicate with your office regarding this matter.
We hope that these requests merit your most favorable consideration.
Thank you very much!
Respectfully Yours,
Gichun Cho
Director
