SUBJECT: MATHEMATICS

DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE


Our group will discuss the methods that will be used in gathering the
needed data for the study. Firstly the first stage of this Data Collection , we
drafted a questionnaire that be given every 5 Sections to the Grade 3 students.
We decided on a question for our data gathering, "how much money does your
mom give you every day for school?", so we can be ready before collecting the
data.. Then, we asked the adviser a permission to conduct the data collection,
where the study will be conducted.
Upon approval, we conduct a survey to the respondents by distributing the
questionnaire to them and the given questionnaire will be answered briefly and
concisely by the respondents or students . After the total return of the
questionnaire, the data will be collected and classified. The results of the study
will be identified as proofs of this research study.

DATA COLLECTION
Data collecting is a systematic process of gathering observations or
measurements. Whether you are performing research for business,
governmental or academic purposes, data collection allows you to gain first-
hand knowledge and original insights into your research problem.

While methods and aims may differ between fields, the overall process of data
collection remains largely the same. Before we begin collecting data, you need
to consider:

 The aim of the research


 The type of data that you will collect
 The methods and procedures you will use to collect, store, and process
the data

REGGIE AND KYLE:


The first stage of the data gathering process is the identification of the research
question or problem. The research aim and objectives must be clearly defined to
determine the type of data required. For instance, if the research aims to
investigate consumer behavior, the data collected may be qualitative or
quantitative data relating to consumer decision.

JIA AND PHILLERICK:


The second stage is the development of a data gathering plan. This plan outlines
the specific data gathering methods and techniques for each research question or
objective

JUYELL, KURT AND JAIME:


The Third and last stage is the collection of data. Data can be collected after
answering the questionnaire.
