The Prerana Centre is situated in the
heart of Vadnagar, Gujarat, at the
historic Vernacular School, where the
remarkable journey of our Hon’ble
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi
began. Established in 1888, the school
symbolizes resilience and the spirit of
Vadnagar. Prerana is designed to
inspire and nurture the youth of our
nation. You are about to embark on a

You must be wondering what is PRERANA!!
Prerana - The Experiential Learning Program is the vision to inspire Bharat. It
is a week-long residential program offering the best of experiential and inspirational
learning, equipped with the latest in technology. As you step into this immersive
environment, envision your learning trajectory guided by mentors who are some of
the bests in their respective fields. Their guidance will ensure that you not only
acquire knowledge but also cultivate the skills and insights essential for navigating
the challenges of the future. Every moment is an opportunity to explore, discover,
and evolve, laying the foundation for a holistic and empowered version of yourself.

Theme-Based Classrooms:
At the core of Prerana's
learning lies a unique
approach with eight
theme-based classrooms,
each fostering distinctive
avenues for joyful and
meaningful learning. They
tell you about 9 human
values which are the mark
of a true leader and are
important personality and
nation-building values.
These are:
1. Swabhiman and Vinay: Pride for the country's heritage, self-respect, and
nationalism.
2. Shaurya and Sahas: Various forms of strong leadership, bravery, and
courage.
3. Parishram and Samarpan: Knowledge and heritage from ancient to modern
India, persistence, and hard work.
4. Karuna and Sewa: Selfless spirit of service and compassion for the society.
5. Vividhta and Ekta: Respect for the country's diverse culture and heritage.
6. Satyanishtha and Shuchita: True integrity, honesty, and dignified
leadership.
7. Navachar and Jigyasa: Technological and entrepreneurial development in
India with innovation.
8. Shraddha and Vishwas: Reliance on reliability, honesty, competence, and
faith to succeed.
9. Swatantrata and Kartavya: Value for freedom and a sense of duty towards
society and country.
Each classroom embodies the values and principles that extend beyond textbooks,

Suggested Activities at PRERANA:
Prerana's emphasis on joyful experiential learning is reflected in diverse theme-based
activities, that will include:
Learning about Bharatiya Virasat and Indian knowledge systems
Explore the achievements of Bharat from ancient times up to modern times
Watching films, storytelling, and regional games.
Crafting working radio models and exploring computer design skills.
Making portraits, observing water samples, and exploring technological
advancements.
Engaging in field trips, heritage walks, and talent shows.
The program recognizes the diverse strengths of students and provides various
mediums, including paintings, podcasts, blogs, 3-D printed models, and more, to
express their understanding creatively. These activities not only enhance
communication skills but also empower students to articulate their thoughts using
mediums that resonate with their individual strengths.
In addition to these varied activities, PRERANA introduces exemplar activities e.g.
"Shaurya and Sahas," where students honour heroes of the freedom struggle through
creative expressions. The "Parishram and Samarpan" activity takes participants back
in time to understand the significance of hand-spun cotton Khadi fabric in India's
independence struggle, fostering an appreciation for hard work and self-reliance.
Site visits to Sharmishtha
Jheel, Tana-Riri Garden,
museums and archaeological
sites further enrich the
learning experience,
encouraging students to
explore and appreciate the
biodiversity around them.
Thought-provoking pre and
post-visit activities aim to
initiate discussions,
promoting an exchange of knowledge and contributing to holistic growth. Prerana's
carefully curated activities, blending tradition with innovation, aim to make learning
a joyous and enlightening experience.
Goals and Objectives:
The Prerana Program aims to
