Section 1: Vocabulary - Places at the Train Station
Instructions: Complete the sentences with the correct words from the list:
departures board, entrance, escalator, exit, lift, platform, stairs, ticket office,
timetables, waiting room.

The departures board shows the times when trains depart.


To buy a ticket, you need to go to the ticket office.
Train number 5 departs from platform 2.
You can use the escalator or the stairs to go to the next floor.
The waiting room is at the end of the hall, where you can wait for your
train.
The main entrance is over there, where people enter the building.
You should use the exit to leave the building quickly.
The timetable shows all the departure and arrival times of the trains.
If you have a lot of luggage/baggage, you can use the lift to move
between floors.
