4.3.1 Institution frequently updates its IT facilities including Wi-Fi
Our college is eagerly moving forward to set up a secure and stable wired or Wi-Fi network
campus for our students in response to the rising demand for internet access in educational settings
brought on by the evolving standard of education and flexibility provided by the Internet.
Currently we are using Airtel lease line of 300 MBPS through Fibre optical link. Also we have
provided Wi-Fi facility to student at both labs and staff rooms. The connectivity through a fully
networked campus with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, computing & communication resources,
offers students the facilities of e-mail, net surfing, up/down loading of web based application, besides
helping them in preparing projects & seminars.
High-end servers are available in our department and are utilized to manage network traffic,
bandwidth use, and domain use. Multiple Wi-Fi routers are utilized to cover department labs, staff
areas, and other locations in order to give internet access for wireless devices like laptops and
smartphones in addition to cable connections.

4.4.2. There are established systems and procedures for maintaining and utilizing physical, academic
and support facilities - laboratory, library, sports complex, computers, classrooms etc.
The maintenance committee for the department is in charge of the labs, classrooms, and laboratories.
The Office Superintendent, who oversees the next-level Supervisor's duties, chairs the maintenance
committee. The Supervisor is responsible to the Office Superintendent and serves as the coordinator
who effectively organizes the workforce. The Supervisor also keeps duty files that contain
information about each floor's specific tasks, timings, leave policies, etc. The infrastructure is
periodically examined by the maintenance officer to verify its effectiveness and functional state.
In order to create a comfortable learning environment, adequate in-house staff is engaged to diligently
manage hygiene, sanitation, and infrastructure on the campus. Non-teaching staff members allocated
to each level frequently clean and maintain the facilities such as the classrooms, staffrooms, seminar
rooms, and laboratories. Both the washrooms and the restrooms are kept clean. There are trash cans
on every floor. A full-time gardener keeps the campus's green cover in good condition. Generator, air
conditioner, CCTV, and water purifier maintenance is covered in the preview.
Under the System administrator's guidance, lab assistants keep the college computers and their
accessories functioning properly.
The HODs report on the need for maintenance and repairs on a regular basis to the administrative
office. Every semester break, the requirements are all handled collectively to maintain everything
prepared for the upcoming semester. Infrastructure facility upkeep is handled by the estate office
manager and his crew. The routine upkeep of civil works, such as furniture repairs, masonry and
plaster work, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and housekeeping, is handled by this crew. The non-
teaching personnel is also educated in maintaining scientific and technological apparatus.
