GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING PROJECT REPORT

Project Formatting Guidelines

1. Type Style and Spacing: Same type style and font should be used throughout the
Project and should be justified. All printing should be single side. As per following
specifications:

Follow these rules strictly while writing report for final project

Font – Times New Roman


Chapter No.-14 Bold
Chapter Title – 16 Bold Uppercase
Heading – 14 Bold (1.1, 1.2 etc), Subheading 12 Bold (1.1.1, 1.2.2 etc)
Body Font Size – 12
Line Spacing – 1.5 lines
Margins – Top, Bottom & Right – 1 Inch each and Left – 1.5 Inch (Including
Binding)
Page Size – Standard A4

` 2. There should be uniformity in writing headings and sub-headings in all chapters


3. Avoid underlines and colon i.e.:
4. To indicate a figure, write below the figure and the format should be Fig.1.5
5. To indicate a table, write above the table and the format should be Table 1.5
6. All the figure captions and table captions should be 12 size, bold and title case
7. All the figures and tables should be mentioned/referred/explained in the adjoining
paragraphs
