GRADE 9 MATHEMATICS FRAMEWORK 2024

The framework lays out the basic design structure of the assessment by describing the subject content that should be assessed and the skills and types of items that should be
developed. It also describes how the various design factors should be balanced across the assessment. It is based on the subject content as in the Annual Teaching Plan (ATP)
for 2024 and other dimensions of the assessment e.g. Fundamentals. The suggested weighting of Term 1: Term 2 is 50:50. The framework informs the test and not the other way
round.
