We use ADVERBS OF FREQUENCY to say how often we do something. Some adverbs of
frequency are:
Adverb Grade of Example

ALWAYS (siempre) 100% I always watch TV at night.
ALMOST ALWAYS (casi siempre) 95% She almost always eats breakfast.
USUALLY (usualmente) 75% Camila usually gets up late.
OFTEN (a menudo) 50% My sister often exercises in the morning.
SOMETIMES (a veces) 25% They sometimes go to cinema.
SELDOM (rara vez) 5% I seldom see him
HARDLY EVER (casi nunca) I hardly ever sing
NEVER (nunca) 0% We never come to class late.
Adverbs usually come just before the verb they describe. In a sentence with to be, the adverb of
frequency comes after the verb.
