Whether the docking station is installed on the tripod or not it MUST be connected using a Dell WD19s Docking
Station.
The following instructions describe the installation of the Poly Studio bar on the free-standing tripod, however the
example provided on the right shows the installation of the Poly Studio Bar on the meeting table.
2a. Connect the USB-C cable from the Poly studio bar to the docking
station.
2c. The HDMI cable from the monitor will go into the docking station. NB,
this may already be connected to the meeting table.
2e. Where possible the docking station should be hidden to prevent the
accidental unplugging of cables. However, the cable required to
connect to the laptop should be clearly visible.

2h The Install the USB-A to USB-C cable between the Studio Bar and the docking station
2i. The HDMI cable from the room display/TV should connect to the docking station. The only thing we are going to connect to the
laptop is the USB-C cable coming out from Docking station. This will cause the Studio X70 bar to become a peripheral device to
the laptop and will allow the camera and audio devices to be detected in Teams settings.
2j. Now we need to connect the USB- C cable coming out of the docking station to the laptop.
