Selecting a business and do complete Accounting on imaginary figure

Give a list of options to the students to select a business form. You can add to the given list:

1. A beauty parlour 10. Men's wear 19. A coffee shop

After selection, advise the student(s) to visit a shop in the locality (this will help them to settle on a realistic
amounts different items. The student(s) would be able to see the things as they need to invest in furniture, decor,
lights, machines, computers etc.

Example of Story

Kavya was always helping her parents and grand parents in their house hold stuff. Her Grand mother is
excellent cook. Learning art of cooking was very natural to her. She always want to be a renowned chef
from her school days and hence after graduating in commerce she decided to start a coffee shop and to
serve various hot and cold coffee from the recipe book of her Grand mother.

She arranged Rs. 1,00,000 from her Father and 50,000 from her pocket money savings. She rented a
shop near her school to attract her school mates as a customer. She gave Rs.30,000 as deposit to
landlord and spent Rs.40,000 on interior. She need to buy coffee making machines of Rs.3,00,000 and
needed working capital of Rs.1,00,000 so she applied for a bank loan of Rs.4,00,000 which was approved
by bank at rate of 10% P.a.

Transactions:

April
1. -> started business by bringing cash.
2. -> open Bank A/c with …… Bank
3. -> Took bank loan with …....Amt with….. rate of interest.
4. -> Purchase Computer/Plant and Machinery/Furniture …….. by paid in cheque.
