The Ant and The Dove
An ant went to the river to get a drink. The water rushed along so fast that he washed off the
bank into the river. The ant cried for help but his voice was so tiny so it could not be herd
clearly.
A dove was sitting on the tree that overhung the water. The dove saw the ant struggling, and
quickly nipped off a leaf and let it fall into the water. The ant climbed up upon the leaf and
floated down the river until the leaf was washed upon the bank of stream.
The ant call out in his tiny voice, "thank you kind dove, you have saved my life." but of
course the dove could not hear him.
Several days after this, the dove was again sitting on a tree,. A hunter crept carefully on the
tree. His gun was pointed at the dove and when he was about to shoot the dove, his leg was
bitten by an ant.
The hunter cried out with pain and dropped his gun. This frightened the dove and she flew
away.
"Thank you kind ant", said the dove. The ant heard and he was glad.

A Trip to the Zoo
Yesterday my family and I went to the zoo to see the elephant. When we got to the zoo, we
went to the shop to buy some food to give to the animals.
After getting the food, we went to the nocturnal house where we saw birds and reptiles which
only come out at night.
Before having lunch, we went for a ride on the elephant. It was a thrill to ride it. Dad fell off
when he let go of the rope, but he was ok.
During lunch, we fed some birds in the park. In the afternoon we saw the animals being fed.
When we returned home we were very tired but happy. It was because we had so many fun
activities at many places at the zoo.

I just returned from the greatest summer vacation! It was so fantastic, I never wanted
it to end. I spent eight days in Paris, France. My best friends, Henry and Steve, went with
me. We had a beautiful hotel room in the Latin Quarter, and it wasn’t even expensive. We
had a balcony with a wonderful view.
We visited many famous tourist places. My favorite was the Louvre, a well-known
museum. I was always interested in art, so that was a special treat for me. The museum is so
huge, you could spend weeks there. Henry got tired walking around the museum and said
“Enough! I need to take a break and rest.”
We took lots of breaks and sat in cafes along the river Seine. The French food we ate
was delicious. The wines were tasty, too. Steve’s favorite part of the vacation was the hotel
breakfast. He said he would be happy if he could eat croissants like those forever. We had so
much fun that we’re already talking about our next vacation.

The Helpful Dolphin and the Selfish Shark
In the ocean, there lived a helpful dolphin who was known for his kindness and
generosity. One day, a selfish shark approached the dolphin and asked him for help.
The shark said, “I have injured my fin, and I can’t swim properly. Can you help me
reach the other side of the ocean?”
The dolphin agreed to help and carried the shark on his back. As they were
swimming, the shark started to attack the dolphin, trying to kill him.The dolphin was
surprised and asked the shark why he was doing this. The shark replied, “I am a predator, and
you are my prey. I only asked for your help to get closer to my next meal.”
The dolphin was disappointed and hurt by the shark’s betrayal. He realized that not
everyone is kind and helpful like him, and he learned to be more cautious and mindful of the
people he helps.
