Hi Guys and teacher, today We are going to talk about the importance of care our
environment and methods and examples for save water in our daily routine.

The importance of conserving the environment lies in the importance of the

environment itself, since we all live in it. Therefore, if we want to ensure our own
survival and well-being, and that of other living beings, we must worry about
their care and protection.

Exist a lot of manners for care our environment, for example: use environmetally.
friendly materials, buy energy-saving devices, recycle waste, use alternative
means of transport and save water, in this case we have selected save water so
my friend Ariana will say some examples for include this in our daily routine

These are some examples of how we can save water in our daily routine:
- Turn off the tap while you brush your teeth, if we brush our teeth with the tap
open we use around six liters of water, while opening it only when we need it we
will use less than half a liter.
- If you have a garden or outdoor plants to water. Do it at night. When watering
during the day, up to 30% can be lost through evaporation.
- do not throw papers into the toilet, every time we use the toilet cistern we use
between nine and 10 liters of water, sometimes to throw away just one piece of
paper, it is better to put a trash can in the bathroom
- shower instead of bathing, bathing uses 15 times more water than showering, do
it quickly and save more

Saving water is one of the most effective ways to help the environment for
several reasons:

Preservation of natural resources: Fresh water is a limited resource, and

conserving it helps ensure that it will be available for future generations,
avoiding overexploitation of fresh water sources.

Reducing energy consumption: Water production and distribution require a

significant amount of energy. Saving water reduces the energy needed to process
and deliver water to homes and businesses, which reduces the carbon footprint
and pollution associated with energy generation.

Protecting aquatic ecosystems: Responsible water use helps keep rivers, bays,
and estuaries healthy by reducing the amount of water diverted from these
ecosystems. This is essential for wildlife and aquatic habitat conservation.

Less pressure on water treatment facilities: Saving water reduces the demand on
water treatment and distribution systems, which saves resources and reduces
costs to maintain and upgrade these facilities.
Assurance of clean water for human consumption: Water conservation is crucial
to ensure access to clean, safe water for drinking and meeting the basic needs of
the human population.

Conclusion:

Saving water is fundamental to preserving the environment and has a number of

important benefits. Reducing water consumption contributes to environmental
sustainability by protecting natural resources, minimizing pollution and saving
energy. This not only benefits the economy and quality of life, but also has a
positive global impact by addressing the water scarcity that affects much of the
world's population. Every drop of water saved counts, and individual and
collective actions in water conservation are essential for a healthier planet.
