Semester – 2023

DAY 1 – July 15th


GOAL: Students will identify the family members.
Pages: Pages 6 to 8.

- Presentation activity, with a teddy bear, students have to present their self.

*Your favorite animal.

- Present the family members through pictures.
- Activity 1: Identifying my family members. students will have a sheet with a
family, they have to identify each person and write the names.
- Activity 2: Who is? Students will have a sheet with charts and the name of
family members, they have to draw each member of their family.
- The teacher will explain a Family tree on the board.
- Activity 3: Students have to create their own family tree.
- Active activity: identify the class commands.
- Students have to act with each command following the voice of the teacher.

DAY 2 – July 22nd


GOAL: Students will identify the personal pronouns.
Pages: 9-11

- Warm up: Sing songs and then, a controlled activity will be carried out, in
order to students learn the commands on class on page 8/9, teacher will show
the movement of each command and students have to repeat it with their
bodies.
- Present the pronouns with pieces of paper and showing it to students with real
examples.
- Learn personal pronoun through draws on the board and online flashcards.
- Work on listening on page 10.
- Play tingo-tango, on the board there will be draws representing each pronoun,
students have to go here and write the correct pronoun.
- Personal pronouns worksheet.
- Play wall touch: Stick the pronouns around the classroom, students will be in
the middle and teacher shout out a pronoun and everyone must rush to the
correct word.
- Present the possessive adjectives playing Simon says. Students take notes.
- Possessive pronoun worksheet.
- Sing the numbers song.

DAY 3 – July 29th


GOAL: Students will identify names and what they can do

- Unit opener, identify the animals in the picture and name it.
- Name the animals that they know and write on the board.
- Listen to the pronunciation of each animal and repeat.
- Write on the board, the name of animals unscrambles, the students with the
Tingo-Tango have to go to the board and organize each name.

DAY 4 – August 05th


GOAL: Talk about what animals do and want.

- Warm up: Guessing game about animals. Play an animal song and identify the

- Work on a worksheet about: My favorite animal.
- Work on page 16 and explain the ING through games in the classroom.
- Work on page 17.

DAY 5 – August 12nd – 2023


GOAL: Students will talk about what animals want.

- Teacher will show different pictures and students have to say what is the
action.
- Review of present continuous.

DAY 6 – August 19th – 2023


GOAL: Students will say what people are doing.

- Check the homework.
- Simon says with verbs

tense/, with the help of the song, students have to pass to Scratch, when the
music stop the student who will have in his hands, come to the board, teacher
show a picture and the student have to say what action is doing.
- The teacher will show some pictures to students, they have to identify the
actions (will be the same verbs on unit 2)
- With the materials requested by the teacher last class, students have to cut
and pay their pictures on the notebook and then, write an example with each
verb glued.
- Work on page 26 and 27.
- Identify the scholar supplies on page 27.
- Work on page 12 of workbook.
- HOMEWORK: From page 13 to 16 of Workbook.

DAY 7 – August 25th


GOAL: Identify the use of There is and There are.

DAY 12 – Sept 30th


GOAL: Student will say identify games and activities.
Pages: 42 – 45.

- Warm up: In order to remember the vocabulary of the last unit,


students have to identify what clothes are they children on the picture
wearing.
- Remember the weather vocabulary: how’s the weather like? The sun
is__.
- Mention the actions that the children are doing.
- Write play on the board. Say When I play, I have fun. Say it with me:
play. Say To play is to have fun. Let’s look at ways to play.
- Show flashcards with different activities with play.
- Show the vocabulary on page 45, students have to identify with the
audio what are the activities.
- Worksheet #1 and #2.

DAY 13 – Oct 07th


GOAL: Students will say what activities I like to do.
Pages: 46 to 48

- Warm up: Present the vocabulary and students will have a happy face
and a sad face, the teacher will present the flashcards and they have to
put the correct face if they like the activity or not.
- Check the homework.
- Socialize the vocabulary and give examples.
- Work on listening part.
- Work on point 2.
- Work on say and stick.
- Workbook page 29.
- Students in pairs have to practice the question on page 46.
- Homework: page 30 workbook.

DAY 14 - OCTOBER 14TH – Break day.

GOAL:
Pages 49 – 53.

- Warm up: With the help of flashcards and a ball, students will
remember and practice the vocabulary related to the balls.
- Check the homework.
- Work on page 48.
- Work on page 49 – 50.
- Work on worbook page 30/31/32/33.
- Workbook page 34/35/36/37.
- Practice the English fair.
- Feedback and close the class.
