GUIDELINES FOR B. TECH. PROJECT
a) The final exam will have Presentation followed by Viva-Voce and Demonstration at the
college of study.

b) Title of Project, name of the student and coordinator, year of submission must be printed on
the Colored cover page of the B. Tech. Project. The report must be hard bound, Three copies.
(75 to 150 pages minimum)

c) The main contents in the report should be typed in Times New Roman 12 font (body), 18,
16, 14, (headings) and Fancy fonts should be avoided for text writing. Page no. should be
numbered from Abstract as 1, 2, 3……… Spacing between consecutive lines should be 1.5.
Separate successive paragraphs by 6 points. Margins of each page should be preferably 1.25
inch left side, 0.75 inch right hand side, and 1 inch top and 1 inch bottom with page no. at
bottom right

d) Literature references will be arranged in the order in which they are referred in the text.
Reference number will be put in square brackets within the text in the order in which they are
cited.

e) Preferably, the Report should be organized as under:


i) Front Page
ii) Acknowledgement
iii) Declaration (sample below)
iv) Certificate By the Guide (sample below)
v) Table of Content (Pg no. should be numbered in Roman as i, ii, iii distinct) (Sample below)
vi) List of Tables (sample below)
vii) List of Figure
viii) Abbreviation
ix) Abstract
x) Main content
a. Introduction
b. 2/3 chapter related topics
c. Results with explanation
d. Conclusion & Further Scope
xi) Literature References (IEEE Syntax), Examples are given as under:(Minimum 10 references)
