LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
I am pleased to recommend A.KRANTHI KUMAR for Graduate Studies at your esteemed University. I have known him over a period of one year and have taught him the subjects of Digital Communications and Antennas and Wave Propagation. During my interaction with his class as an instructor, I found him to be very penetrating and clear and also sharp in operation. A very advertent student in the class, dowered with a good creative potential. He has displayed an impressive ability to grasp the essence of the subject. His knowledge in Electronics is fantabulous. Persistent determination to reach his goals combined with a high motivation makes him a remarkable student. He has the quality of being able to perform, which facilitates achievement. He has the ability to work independently and held in great esteem for admirable qualities especially of an intrinsic nature. During my contact with him I have found him to be intelligent, characterized by hard work and perseverance and a methodical young man capable of meeting deadlines. I have recognized his capacity to think originally and express his thoughts with clear expressions in English in oral as well as written forms. Occasional hitches tend to reinforce his commitment and resolve with the result but in the long run with his steadiness of mind under stress he can easily overcome this and his targets. I have found him to have persistent determination and a state of active curiosity while working towards his accomplishments. In addition, he has also participated in several cultural activities conducted by the college annually and won many prizes in it, both in sports as well as in literary activities. He has also represented our college for paper presentation events held at the national level. He maintains a good balance between sports and studies and this puts him in a better position to act responsibly to handle the stress of Higher education. Based on his overall personality and academic profile I would rank him among the top 5% of the students in the class. I also rank him among the top 8% of the students in my teaching experience of thirty years. Considering his interest in pursuing higher studies and his scholastic promise for research oriented study, I strongly recommend his candidature for admission at your institution for masters program and doctoral study with substantial financial aid.
