English Class

1. Use and practice the English language during class and while using the communication channels.

2. Be punctual to class and bring your computer EVERYDAY.


***(THREE points are given DAILY for being responsible with this class policy).

3. Show good manners and politeness.

4. Fighting, threating, yelling, bullying, or using obscene language, is strictly


FORBIDDEN.

5. DO NOT answer phone calls during class nor use the phone unless instructed to
do so.

6. Students are NOT allowed to wear earphones during class.

7. Wear the school uniform or be PROPERLY dressed for school purposes during casual days.

8. If students are absent, it is THEIR responsibility to ask the teacher about the given material, to keep up
to date. It is the student’s responsibility to talk to the teacher and arrange an appointment to make up for
any assignment or work given within 3 class days.

9. EVERYTIME a student is absent to class, he or she will have to do one of the following actions:
a. Write an email to the teacher and attach a written excuse which PROPERLY justifies
the absence. This excuse SHOULD have the date, reasons for the absence and the parent
or guardian’s signature.
b. Write a mini letter on a piece of paper which includes the date, reasons for the absence
and the parent or guardian’s signature.
***If the student does not hand in a proper, written, justifiable excuse for each absence he or she
incurs, he or she will lose the opportunity to make up for any assignment or work given. The student
will also risk losing the day’s daily points (3 points per day).

10. Each class assignment or task will have a due date, once this period expires, works will not be accepted.

11. It is FORBIDDEN UNDER PENALTY OF LAW, to record or take pictures of the class or classmates
without the teacher’s consent.

12. The teacher will have an “Incident Record Notebook”. This document will collect all the incidents with
students who do NOT follow the school policies discussed on this document.

***If the student has more than THREE INCIDENTS per situation: uniform, absences, punctuality, among
ALL the other criteria discussed on this document; the student will be referred to the school counselor, social
worker or school principal who will apply the appropriate disciplinary sanctions.
