Company and Competition Requirements
The curriculum chart will guide you in the registration process so you know which classes your dancer should enroll in for their
age/level. The classes checked off below are strong recommendations to ensure your dancer is getting the appropriate amount of
training for their age. This chart should be followed as your dancer advances each year, with the recommendations of teachers.

Company/Competition Dancer Requirements:
Dancers who are in our performing company should register for their appropriate company class which they were invited into.
This will be a choreography class to learn and rehearse for upcoming performance opportunities. They must also enroll in
additional classes for continued education in individual genres. ***Please see requirements below:
Petite Company: Company Class and at least one additional class of choice
Junior & Senior Company: Company Class, Ballet (in the recommended level), and at least one additional class of choice
Competition Dancer Requirements: Dancers wishing to take part in competition season must be enrolled in the following
classes all season: Recommended company class, the additional company class requirements and the mandatory Tap & Jazz
Technique class (applies to Senior Team members). Dancers will be required to attend all competition rehearsals, held on
Fridays for the entirety of the competition season (details and dates to be presented in the Fall).
Payment Schedule 2023-2024 Dance Year
REGISTRATION FEE: $25 PER STUDENT (NON-REFUNDABLE)
Precision Dance Academy payment options: Acceptable forms of payment FOR TUITION ONLY include cash,
check or credit/debit card. Families choosing to pay by credit/debit must enroll in our auto payments by October 15th on
precisiondanceacademy.com by submitting the auto request form. After October 15th, only check and cash options are
available. Precision Dance Academy has 10 months of lessons with 5 equal payment semesters, regardless of the number of
weeks in each semester. Below is the breakdown of semesters and tuition due dates. *Auto debit accounts will be charged on the
1st of September, November, January, March, and May. Payments for anything other than tuition must be cash or check.
HOURS OF DANCE TUITION AMOUNT Payment Policies: Please note if you have more than

accounts must be current by the recital to grant a child’s
performance. Precision Dance Academy has a no refund

Class Descriptions & Requirements
All classes are subject to change based on enrollment.
• All classes require students to arrive on time with hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun. (Ballet students must wear a bun)
• Water is encouraged in each class.
• Please label all your belongings ie: shoes, water bottle, additional clothing etc.
• All Class Attire: Appropriate class attire includes any color leotard and tights. Form fitted shorts may be worn over leotard and tights.

Precision Dance Academy 2023-2024 Studio Policies
Studio Etiquette
All dancers are expected to arrive to class on time. • All dancers are expected to wear the appropriate dance attire (tights, leotards, shorts, tank top). Casual
clothing is not suitable class attire. • All dancers are expected to have the proper shoes the first day of class and every dance class after • All dancers are
expected to have their hair in a tight ponytail or bun. It is not the teacher’s responsibility to provide hair ties. • Each dancer is responsible to bring their
own water to class. •Students should not bring a snack to class unless taking several hours in a row. If a snack break is approved by the teacher, please be
mindful of students with allergies. • No jewelry is to be worn during class. • No street shoes, gum, food or sticky drinks of any kind are allowed in the
studio by parents or dancers. • If arriving to class early, please do not enter the dance room until invited by your teacher. • If arriving to class late, please
send your child in alone with no disturbance, ready to dance. • Parents are not to come in and watch the dance lesson unless invited in by a teacher. •
Parents are expected to pick their dancer up promptly from class. • Parents are expected to stay in the PDA waiting room, if your child is not yet potty
trained or may need assistance in the bathroom. • If a parent needs to speak to a teacher about a concern or pressing matter, please email or call to discuss.
We are unable to address your concerns during class time. • Cell phone policy- If a parent or student defames the studio on social media, they will be asked
to leave the studio. Dancers with cell phones must keep them in the waiting room on silent during class time. Social media posting of dancers is prohibited
without parent consent. PDA is not liable for lost or stolen devices of any kind. Expected Dancer Behavior All dancers are expected to demonstrate good
behavior & manners and be respectful to their teachers and peers. • If your child is misbehaving during class time, the teacher reserves the option to give
your child a “break”. • If after the first warning your child continues to misbehave, the teacher reserves the option to dismiss your child for the remainder of
the class. • If your child continues to misbehave on a weekly basis, the teacher reserves the option to dismiss your child from the class permanently. • PDA
does not tolerate bullying. If at any point your child is caught bullying another child, they will be dismissed from the program • PDA does not tolerate
personal dispute between dancers.
Payments
All prices are subject to change each year. Please follow our yearly tuition chart for pricing options. Tuition is due five times per dance year. Please place cash
or check payments in our waiting room drop box in an envelope including our provided tuition slip • PDA has a no refund policy. • Each dancer is required
to purchase a costume for each class taken. Company classes require two costumes and a company package payment due in full in October • If you decide
to leave the dance year early, you are not subject to a refund. • If you decide to drop a class at any time throughout the year, you are not subject to a refund.
• If you join mid semester your tuition will be prorated accordingly • If there is a returned check, you are expected to pay a $25 fee, plus that payment in
cash. Insufficient funds for debit charges will result in a $25 cash fee within 7 days as well as tuition paid in full by cash • If any checks are returned more
than twice, you will have to pay the remainder of all payments in cash for the rest of the year. • If a check is returned, your child is immediately suspended
from class until payment is made. • Late Fees- Precision Dance Academy will be enforcing a $25 late fee to those who fail to pay on the week payments are
due • It is the parent’s responsibility to know when all payments are due.
Company Members
All company members are expected to attend all classes. • If your dancer is not attending a class, you must notify your teacher through email. • All
company members are required to take at least one additional class and are expected to attend all extra weekend rehearsals in preparation for performances.
• All company members are required to purchase the “Company Package” which provides 2 costumes, PDA shirt and performance tights. All company
members are required to attend all performances.
Recital/Show Tickets
Each class performs in our annual recital held in the Spring. Details TBA when they become available • Additional performance opportunities IE Autumn
Lights Festival will be presented throughout the year • Videography and flash photography is prohibited during all shows, where a professional company is
present • Parents are not permitted during closed rehearsals. •Tickets will be sold on tututix.com or through the studio prior to all recitals. This price is
separate from tuition and is subject to change without notice. Tickets will not be sold to families with outstanding balances. •Students will not be eligible
to perform in shows until their accounts have been paid for in full. Show Tickets are non-refundable.
Costumes Measuring
All dancers are measured in the beginning of the dance year. PDA follows the costume company size chart and orders costumes accordingly. If a dancer’s size
is on the cusp of two sizes, we are prone to purchase the larger size so the student will fit into it by the end of the year recital.
Liability
PDA owners, teachers and staff are not responsible for any lost belongings left at Precision Dance Academy, or any other locations where a PDA event is
held. • Precision Dance Academy and its staff are not responsible if your child gets hurt in class, at the studio or other locations where a PDA event is held.
I waive any claim I may have against Precision Dance Academy and its staff. With full knowledge of the risks involved, I hereby release Precision Dance Academy
from any and all liabilities, directly or indirectly arising related to any loss, damage, or injury.
AUTOMATIC CARD PAYMENT OPTION
Precision Dance Academy offers an automatic withdrawal option for tuition
payments. Cash and checks are still an option for payment for those who prefer them. Please
fill out the form below if you are interested in automatic payments. The card provided below
will be used for the 2023-2024 Dance Year through June. Costume/Company Packages must
be paid by cash or check separately. This card is only for tuition payments. If your card
expires, please notify PDA and provide new information when needed. Tuition payments will
be withdrawn on the first of September, November, January, March and May. If for any
reason, a card is declined, PDA’s late fee of $25 per occurrence will apply.
