‭Beginning of the school day (or class period):‬

‭1.‬ ‭Classroom lesson:‬

‭-‬ ‭I will start by greeting all my students, setting a positive tone for the start of the class.‬

‭-‬ ‭As students roll in and begin checking attendance, if students are not in the classroom by‬

‭the bell I will mark them as tardy, unless they have a valid excuse.‬

‭-‬ ‭Once they are settled I will take attendance.‬

‭-‬ ‭I will start class by going over what is expected during the class/any reminders‬

‭Gym lesson:‬

‭-‬ ‭I expect all students to come into the gym to attend announcements before changing out‬

‭in the locker room.‬

‭-‬ ‭Each student will have their own locker to keep their belongings in.‬

‭-‬ ‭Students will have 10 minutes to change out and be back in the gym in proper gym attire,‬

‭if they are not out in the 10 minutes or not in the right attire they will be docked for the‬

‭day.‬

‭-‬ ‭I will then go on to explain the activities for the day and then begin the short warm up.‬

‭2.‬ ‭End of school day (or class period):‬

‭Classroom lesson:‬

‭-‬ ‭As we begin to wrap up class, I expect students to be engaged until I release them. I will‬

‭give a brief summary of what we went over in class, I will also give reminders of what is‬

‭due/expected for the next class.‬

‭-‬ ‭I will allow room for questions/comments.‬

‭Gym lesson:‬
‭-‬ ‭5 minutes before class is over I will dismiss them to change. This time is shorter due to‬

‭the fact they have 10 minute passing periods. This gives them 15 minutes to change,‬

‭freshen up, and get to class.‬

‭-‬ ‭I expect them to put away their equipment they used back to the spot they got it from.‬

‭-‬ ‭Before dismissal I will do a quick recap and what is expected from them for next class. I‬

‭will also remind them if we will be inside or outside so they can plan properly.‬

‭-‬ ‭Once in the locker rooms I expect them to go in there and change and wait for the bell to‬

‭ring before leaving.‬

‭3.‬ ‭Communicating learning activities/assignments:‬

‭Classroom lesson:‬

‭-‬ ‭Before the class period I will make sure all expected assignments will be laid out and‬

‭prepared for students. I will have written out instructions on the board to help guide‬

‭students. I will also have everything posted for them online for them to resource.‬

‭-‬ ‭Upcoming homework assignments will be talked about and posted with a due date.‬

‭-‬ ‭Their online resource such as google classroom will be their best resource to find due‬

‭dates, homework assignments, and instructions.‬

‭-‬ ‭I will encourage students to ask questions and engage in lessons to help them keep them‬

‭on track.‬

‭Gym lesson:‬

‭-‬ ‭Visuals will be posted to ensure each student understands the expectations of the‬

‭classroom.‬

‭-‬ ‭Visuals will also be posted for the warm up that students can look back at to help remind‬

‭them.‬
‭-‬ ‭Equipment will be set up in advance, but students are expected to help put it away at the‬

‭end of the period.‬

‭-‬ ‭I will provide verbal reminders to ensure students will be set up for success.‬

‭4.‬ ‭Rooms areas:‬

‭-‬ ‭Lockers will be provided for all students and will remain locked to help teach the‬

‭students personal items safe and secured.‬

‭-‬ ‭Storage for equipment will be organized and labeled to make sure all things remain in the‬

‭correct place. This will promote organization and efficiency when gathering equipment.‬

‭-‬ ‭In the classroom I will have labeled areas for students to find the right resources for them.‬

‭5.‬ ‭School areas:‬

‭-‬ ‭If any students need to leave the classroom for any reason, they will be asked to do a sign‬

‭out sheet providing the time they left, their reasoning, and when they get back into the‬

‭classroom.‬

‭-‬ ‭In any hallways or common work areas students will be reminded to respect the space‬

‭around them.‬
