ACTIVITY 6: Meeting my Personal Fitness Goals
The learners will be grouped into two (2) to create at least five (5) dance
combination steps using locomotor and non-locomotor skills for street dance
presentation.
Analysis
Using the FITT Chart, learners will make their own Personal Fitness Program
Abstraction
The teacher will ask the following questions to the learners.
a. How did you feel while performing the activity?
b. What made you finish the activity?
c. How can you maintain and improve a physically fit body?
d. How can your Daily Physical Fitness routine help you to become physically fit.
Application
The learners will perform street dance in an open area for ten (10) minutes.

Here’s how?
1. Group the class into five (5).
2. Each group will be given photo (bruises, strains, sprains, cramps, and heat
exhaustion).
3. In five minutes (5) let each group discuss the photo assigned to them.
4. In the class, each group will perform appropriate first aid to the assigned photo.
5. When ready, let each group perform in front of the class, one after one another.
6. Remind the class to observe safety precautions before, during and after the
presentation.
Analysis
The teacher will ask the learners the following;
1. How did you feel after doing the activity?
2. What first aid did you applied in the problem that was assigned to you before, during
and after?
Abstraction
The teacher will present first aid of bruises, strains and sprints, cramps, and heat
exhaustion. :

Heat exhaustion
Get the person out of the sun and into a shady or air-conditioned location
Lay the person down and elevate the legs and feet slightly
Loosen or remove the person’s clothing
Have the person drink cool water or other non-alcoholic beverage without
caffeine
Cool the person by spraying or sponging with cool water and fanning
Monitor the person carefully. Heat exhaustion can quickly become heatstroke
Call emergency medical help if the person’s condition deteriorates, especially
if fainting, confusion or seizures occur, or if fever of 140 F (40 C) or greater
occurs with other symptoms.

Abstraction:
Bowl of knowledge
In a bowl, put the cut out strips of a healthy lifestyle habits and unhealthy
habits. While the music goes on the bowl will be passing on, whoever receives the bowl
while the music stop the student will pick one strip and read and then identify if it is
healthy or unhealthy lifestyle.
