as 14 or 16 pt, to distinguish them from the body text.
3) Line Spacing: The standard line spacing for engineering reports is 1.5 or double-spaced. However, again,
make sure to follow the specific guidelines provided by your instructor or department.
4) Margins: The standard margin size for engineering reports is 1 inch on all sides.
5) Headings: Use headings to organize the content of the report. The formatting of headings can vary, but a
commonly used convention is to use bold text, a larger font size, and capital letters for the main heading
(e.g., "INTRODUCTION"), and a slightly smaller font size, bold text, and sentence case for subheadings (e.g.,

17) Conclusion: The conclusion should summarize the main points of the report and draw conclusions based
on the findings.
