REED 3 MODULE 1
Lesson 1

ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES
Write or encode your responses to the following on a separate piece of bond paper,
then upload your work to Google Classroom's classwork section. Answer the following
questions in not more than 5 sentences.

1. What is the significance of the Creed to Catholics?

The Creed identifies and enumerates the Fundamental of Christian beliefs. It is the
symbol of faith that expresses the central truths that the members of the Catholic Church
believe. It also serves as a pledge of loyalty to God and Church. Creed identifies who we
Catholics are and what we stand for as disciples of Christ, united in his Church.
Therefore, in proclaiming the Creed, we Catholics acknowledge that our basic personal
identity is drawn from God’s initiative in recreating us through Christ and the Holy Spirit
into one community.

2. How do you currently perceive the Holy Spirit's influence in your life? Do you
experience it or not? Why do you think that?
I currently perceive the influence of the Holy Spirit in my life through my
thoughts and feelings, my interpersonal experiences I have with my family and friends,
and through my social life especially in my own community and parish because it is in
my daily living that I consider who the Holy Spirit is and how He operates in my life. I
experience His influence through sacred scriptures, Church’s teachings, prayer, and
because He is my helper, counselor, and advocate. He remains with me and will be within
me. Therefore, I truly believe that He is the Lord, the giver of life who always acts in a
completely selfless manner, leading me not to Himself but Christ and the Father and
teaches me divine love.

3. Create a prayer to the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, the Giver of Life, I thank you for empowering us to be effective
witnesses for Jesus Christ and being God’s guarantee for the inheritance He promised. I
know that I am a sinner, but I am asking You to give me Your divine wisdom and
guidance and fill me with all peace and understanding as I believe in You. I pray to ask
you to give me your gifts and fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control so that I will also get the chance to show this to
others. Holy Spirit, I pray that you will always be overflowing in my life and that I would
experience your divine love in a deeper way. Give me strength and pour out Your Spirit
on me so that I might be able to share about You to those who need your power in
transforming their lives. Amen.
